Israeli Navy Abducts Two Fishermen In Northern Gaza
Picture
Israeli Navy ships attacked, on Thursday morning, Palestinian fishing boats in Gaza territorial waters, west of Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the costal region, and abducted two fishermen.

Eyewitnesses said the soldiers fired many live rounds at fishing boats, and abducted Orans Sultan and Mohammad Sultan, before taking them, along with their bots, to Asdod (Ashdod) Port.

It is worth mentioning that, several months ago, Orans was abducted by the navy, when the navy ships attacked a number of fishing boats in the same area, and as released later.

Israeli navy arrests two Palestinian fishermen

The Israeli navy arrested on Thursday morning two Palestinian fishermen while fishing off the northern Gaza Strip shores.

The Palestinian Center for Human Rights reported in a statement that Israeli gunboats attacked Palestinian fishing boats in the morning while sailing off the Waha area, northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya.

The Center noted that the Israeli gunboats opened fire at the Palestinian boats, and captured one of them with two fishermen on board. The arrested fishermen are Mohammed Ghaleb Al-Sultan, 25, and Orans Sharif Al-Sultan, 21, from Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Center asserted, according to its field researchers, that the Israeli navy forced the fishermen to take off their clothes, jump in the water and swim towards the Israeli war boats, where they were arrested.

He pointed out that the Israeli gunboats tried to sink the fishing boat by firing at it directly, causing a serious damage, but the fishermen who were in the area managed to reach the boat and pulled it towards the Gaza beach after about two hours of the incident.

The Center condemned the ceaseless Israeli attacks against Palestinian fishermen, calling for an immediate end of the policy of hunting down the fishermen and allowing them to fish in the sea and practice their work freely.

The Center called for the release of arrested fishermen, and compensating victims for the physical damage they suffered.

Hamas: Israeli attacks on Gaza, attempt to halt Jerusalem uprising
Picture
The spokesman of Hamas Movement, Hazem Qasem, said that the Israeli shelling that targeted Gaza at dawn Monday, is a failed attempt to end the ongoing uprising that erupted after the US President Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Qasem pointed out that the Israeli air strikes aimed at pressuring Hamas Movement due to its continuous support for all of the ongoing events of the Jerusalem Intifada (uprising) across the Palestinian territories.

“Our people will not be intimidated by the Israeli repeated airstrikes and crimes. Our people will continue the Intifada until the US recognition of Jerusalem as capital of Israel is annulled and the liberation of Palestine is achieved”, the Hamas spokesman said.

Israeli airstrikes at dawn Monday targeted different areas of northern Gaza, without causing injuries among civilians.

Gaza: Eight Gazans killed, 535 others wounded in 10 days
Picture
Since the outbreak of the current intifada (uprising) 10 days ago, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have killed eight Palestinian citizens and wounded 535 others, mostly in shooting attacks, in different areas of the besieged Gaza Strip.

According to the health ministry in Gaza, four Palestinians were killed in sniper attacks east of Gaza city and three others in Jabalia during the recent protests, which were organized inside Gaza border areas against the US recognition of Occupied Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

There are also seven citizens who have suffered serious injuries during the same protests, a spokesman for the health ministry said.

47 children, the youngest of them only six months old, and eight women were among the wounded, the spokesman added.

The health ministry accused the Israeli army of using excessive and deadly force against Gaza protesters and deliberately targeting ambulance crews during the events.

14 ambulances sustained damage and several paramedics suffered from their exposure to direct teargas attacks, its spokesman said.

Renewed aerial attacks target northern Gaza at dawn

Renewed Israeli airstrikes at dawn Monday targeted different areas of northern Gaza, without causing injuries among civilians.

Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli warplanes bombed two resistance posts belonging to al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas with five missiles in northern Gaza.

Another three missiles targeted a building in al-Waha resort, also in northern Gaza, causing widespread damage in the place, the sources added.

A spokesperson for the Israeli occupation army said the air raids were carried out after rockets fired from Gaza landed in Ashkelon.

Earlier, the Hebrew media claimed that a Palestinian rocket hit a house last night in Netiv Haasara settlement near the border with Gaza, causing no casualties.

Israel’s Channel 2, for its part, said that some buildings and vehicles sustained material damage in the rocket attack on Netiv Hasara, adding that another rocket landed in a nearby open area.

3 rockets unleashed from Gaza toward Israeli settlements

Three missiles were fired from Gaza on Sunday evening toward Israeli settlements near the enclave’s borderland, the Israeli army has claimed.

Yedioth Aharonot newspaper quoted the Israeli army spokesman as stating that three missiles unleashed from the blockaded Gaza Strip struck nearby Israeli settlements. One rocket fell inside the Gaza enclave.

The second missile rocked an Israeli settlement in Ashkelon Regional Council, inflicting damage on a newly-built house. The third rocket fell in an open area.

No injuries were reported in the rocket attack. However a state of panic and tension has overwhelmed the area.

Shortly after, the occupation army declared a state of alert and set off code red alert.

Israeli navy opens fire at Palestinian fishermen off Gaza coast
Picture
Israeli naval forces opened fire on Palestinian fishermen off the coast of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza Strip on Friday morning.

Locals said that no injuries were reported among fishermen.

Israeli military incursions inside the besieged Gaza Strip and near the “buffer zone," which lies on both land and sea sides of Gaza, have long been a near-daily occurrence.

The Israeli army also regularly detains and opens fire on unarmed Palestinian fishermen, shepherds, and farmers along the border areas if they approach the buffer zone, as the authorities have not made clear the precise area of the designated zone.

The practice has in effect destroyed much of the agricultural and fishing sector of the blockaded coastal enclave, which has been under an Israeli air, land, and sea blockade for 10 years.

At least 25 Palestinians were injured as clashes erupted Thursday evening between Palestinian youths and Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) stationed at the eastern borders of Gaza Strip.

Spokesman for the health ministry Ashraf al-Qudra affirmed that five young men suffered gunshot injuries while 20 others suffered breathing difficulties after inhaling teargas fired by IOF.

Palestinians continued to protest for the second consecutive week across occupied Palestinian territories against US decision to recognize occupied Jerusalem as the capital of Israel amid international condemnation.

Hundreds of protesters were injured while at least one young man was killed in Gaza clashes over the past week.

Israeli soldiers fired, on Thursday at dawn, several missiles into areas, northwest of Gaza city, Khan Younis and central Gaza, while navy ships also fired missiles into northern Gaza, in addition to attacking fishing boats in Khan Younis.

Update: Media sources in Gaza said the Israeli Air Force carried out at least ten strikes, targeting several areas in the besieged coastal region, causing property damage, to building and homes.

The strikes targeted Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza city, destroying s site used by an armed resistance group, in addition to causing damage to several homes in the area.

The soldiers also fired missiles into the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, causing damage to homes and structures.

They added that the soldiers also fired missiles and shells, south of the Zeitoun neighborhood, in Gaza city, in addition to an area near the shore in Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza.

The soldiers also fired missiles into an area, west of the Nusseirat refugee camp, in Central Gaza, in addition to another area, west of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the coastal region.

The Israeli missiles led to excessive property damage in the bombarded areas, but did not lead to casualties.

In related news, Israeli navy ships fired missiles into the al-Waha area, in northern Gaza, causing damage.

Navy ships also sailed close to the shore in Khan Younis, and forced the Palestinian fishermen away, by firing many live rounds at their boats.

An Israeli army drone fired, on Tuesday at noon, a missile at a Motorcycle in Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, killing two resistance fighters, and wounding several bystanders.

The two Palestinians have been identified as Mustafa Mofeed al-Sultan, 29, from Beit Lahia, and Hasan Ghazi Nasrallah, 25, from al-Karama neighborhood, northwest of Gaza city.

Palestinian medical sources said the Israeli missile also injured several Palestinian bystanders, who were rushed to the Indonesian hospital for treatment. Two of the wounded suffered life-threatening injuries.

The al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, issued a statement mourning the two fighters, and vowing retaliation.

In related news, the soldiers, stationed on military towers and in tanks in the Nahal Oz base across the border fence, east of Gaza city, fired many live rounds and gas bombs, at Palestinians protesting near the fence, wounding four.

Medical sources said two of the wounded Palestinians suffered serious injuries; one of them was shot in the head and the other in the abdomen, while the remaining two were shot in their legs, and were all rushed to the Shifa hospital, west of Gaza city.

In addition, the Palestinian Health Ministry has reported that, besides killing the two Palestinians, the Israeli army shot and injured 153 Palestinians, in the Gaza Strip, and the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, Tuesday.

It added that the soldiers shot 22 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, including one who suffered a serious injury.

It stated that the soldiers have killed six Palestinians, and injured at least 1903; 369 of them were moved to hospitals in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, since last Thursday morning, December 7th.

On Tuesday evening, the soldiers shot a Palestinian child, near the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and moved him to a hospital in Jerusalem.

The army also abducted four Palestinians, including a child, in the al’-Arroub refugee camp, Sa’ir and Beit Ummar towns, in the southern West Bank governorate of Hebron.

The spokesman of Health Ministry in Gaza, Ashraf al-Qudra, said that four citizens were wounded with one suffering a serious injury in the head after being shot by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) stationed at the eastern borders of Gaza.

Clashes on the eastern borders of the enclave between Palestinian youths and IOF soldiers have been going on for six days.

Four youths were killed and over one thousand Palestinians were wounded since the US President Donald Trump announced his recognition of Occupied Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Israeli Army Fires Missiles Into Southern and Northern Gaza
Picture
The Israeli army fired, on Monday evening, tank shells and missiles into what was described as a “monitoring post” run by the al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, in southern Gaza, and many missiles into Palestinian lands, in northern Gaza. The army claimed, “it was retaliating” to shells fired from Gaza.

The Israeli army said it used tank and fighter jets in striking the Hamas-run post, and held the movement fully responsible for the escalation in the besieged Gaza Strip. Palestinian sources reported structural damage.

The army also fired seven missiles into Palestinian lands, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

It claimed that several homemade shells were fired from Gaza into the “Hof Ashkelon Regional Council” of settlements, and that one of them was intercepted by the Iron Dome System, while the rest apparently landed in open areas.

The army added that the Code Red alarms were triggered in several areas, in Hof Ashkelon; there have been no reports of damage or injuries.

Israeli artillery shells hit southern Gaza
Picture
Israeli army on Monday evening opened fire toward Palestinian lands located east of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

A PIC news correspondent said an Israeli military tank deployed along the borderline (between Gaza Strip and 1948 Occupied Palestine) near al-Farahin neighborhood hit the southern region of the blockaded Gaza Strip with three artillery shells.

Demonstrations continue to rock the occupied Palestinian territories for the fourth consecutive day over U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

Two Palestinians were killed early Saturday in Israeli strikes at locations south of Gaza city. Two other protesters were killed on Friday when Israeli soldiers stationed at the Gaza border opened fire at Palestinians protesting Trump’s decision. Hundreds of other protesters have been left wounded.

Israel reduces Gaza fishing area to 6 nautical miles
Picture
Israel has reduced the permitted area for Gaza fishermen to practice their trade from 9 nautical miles off shore to 6 nautical miles.

Palestine Fishermen's Union President Nizar Ayyash on Monday told the PIC that they had been notified of the decision by Israeli occupation forces.

Ayyash said that the reduction in fishing area will come into effect on Tuesday afternoon.

Around 4,000 Palestinian fishermen work off the coast of the Gaza Strip, which is under Israeli blockade, providing vital food to 50,000 people.

Palestinian Woman and Student Shot in Gaza Protests
Picture
At least two Palestinians, one woman and one minor, were shot and injured by Israeli forces in the southern Gaza Strip district of Khan Younis on Saturday morning, as Palestinians continued to demonstrate along the border with Israel in protest of US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

Witnesses told Ma’an News Agency that Israeli forces opened fire on Palestinian school students in the eastern area of the town of Khuzaa — along the border with Israel — in southern Gaza.

The students had reportedly marched to the border in protest around 9 a.m., and were met with live fire from Israeli forces.

One school student was injured and transferred to the Nasser Hospital where his injuries were reported as moderate. His identity remains unknown.

Several other students were reportedly treated on the scene for severe tear-gas inhalation.

Around 11:30 a.m., the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that a Palestinian woman had been shot, also in the Khuzaa area, with live ammunition by Israeli forces in the shoulder, and was transferred to the hospital where she was reported to be in moderate condition.

Her identity also remains unknown.

Hundreds of Palestinians have been injured and four have been killed over the past 3 days, since Trump’s announcement, which has the entire region, with protests erupting all accross the Middle East, in the US, and the UK.

Protests are expected to continue, as Palestinians commemorate the 30th anniversary of the First Intifada on Saturday.
