Israeli navy ships attacked, Friday, Palestinian fishing boats in Gaza territorial waters, in the northern part of the besieged Gaza Strip.
The ships chased the boats and opened live fire on them, forcing the fishermen back to shore, without being able to fish and provide for their families.
Besides some property damage, the attack did not lead to any casualties of abductions.
In the West Bank, the soldiers invaded al-‘Obeydiyya town, east of Bethlehem, and summoned Nadim Ahmad al-Asa, 25, for interrogation in Etzion military base and security center.

Israeli naval forces opened fire at Palestinian fishermen off the coast of the besieged Gaza Strip on Tuesday morning, locals told Ma’an.
Fishermen said that Israeli forces shot at Palestinian fishing boats in two separate incidents off the northern coast of Gaza on Tuesday morning.
An Israeli army spokesperson told Ma’an that they were looking into the reports.
Tuesday morning’s events came a day after Israeli forces shot and injured a Palestinian fisherman with live fire off the coat of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, Gaza farmers told Ma’an that Israeli drones sprayed pesticides on Palestinian crops along the border with Israel in central and southern Gaza on Tuesday morning.
The pesticides, they said, damage crops in the area, which is Gaza's main agricultural region.
The army spokesperson also said she would look into the case.
Earlier this year, Gazan farmers said that Israeli forces regularly sprayed weed killers on both sides of the border fence to guarantee a clear view of the area for the army.
However, Gaza Ministry of Agriculture agronomist Wael Thabet told Ma’an at the time that the chemicals could travel up to 1,200 meters through the air away from the buffer zone, burning crops and causing Palestinian farmers huge economic losses.
Palestinians who work near the Israeli-designated “buffer zone,” which lies on both the land and sea sides of Gaza, often come under fire from Israeli military forces, as the authorities have not made clear the precise area of the designated zone.
The practice has in effect destroyed much of the agricultural and fishing sector of the blockaded coastal enclave.

The Israeli occupation army on Sunday morning launched a limited incursion into eastern al-Qarara, south of the blockaded Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, a number of Israeli army vehicles and bulldozers deployed at Kissufim military base moved into Palestinian cultivate lands east of al-Qarara town, north of Khan Younis.
The Israeli bulldozers reportedly leveled Palestinian land lots all the way through the infiltration.
The incursion is another chain in Israel’s violations of the Cairo-brokered ceasefire accord struck with Palestinian resistance factions in the wake of the 2014 offensive on the besieged coastal enclave of Gaza.

The Israeli occupation navy on Sunday morning kidnapped two fishermen off the coast of the Gaza Strip and confiscated their boat.
A local committee documenting Israel’s violations against Gaza fishermen said, in a press release, that Israeli gunboats encircled and opened fire at a fishing boat off the northern shores of Gaza, rounded up two fishermen aboard it and towed it to an unknown place.
The seized boat belongs to Adnan Abu Rayyala and the two detained fishermen are his sons, Sha’ban, 33, and Mohamed, 20, according to the committee.
Israeli gunboats are around Gaza fishermen every day, harassing them, shooting at them, damaging or seizing their boats, and making arrests. Sometimes fishermen are injured or killed during gunfire attacks.
Under the 1993 Oslo accords, Palestinian fishermen are permitted to fish up to 20 nautical miles off the coast of Gaza. Over the past 18 years, however, Israel has reduced the fishing area gradually to a limit of three nautical miles as part of its blockade on Gaza.
But fishermen and human rights groups say that, since the 2008-09 war in Gaza, the Israeli army regularly enforces a limit even closer to the shore.

Israeli war minister Avigdor Lieberman has said his government does not seek another military adventure in the Gaza Strip as long as the situation remains calm.
In press remarks to the Hebrew website Walla, Lieberman threatened that if another war was imposed on Israel by the Palestinians in Gaza, it would be the last and toughest and target all Hamas military leaders.
He claimed that Israel does not want to reoccupy Gaza and its only aim is to disarm Hamas, adding that if the Movement discarded its rockets and tunnels, the border crossings would be opened, the population’s hardships would end and a seaport would be attainable.
As for the government’s efforts to retrieve captive Israeli soldiers and citizens in Gaza, he said there is a crew commissioned to deal with the issue.
He added that the government cannot give false promises to the captives’ families, affirming the file could take years to finish.

Israeli gunboats opened fire on Saturday morning at Palestinian fishermen and their boats off the northern coast of the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian local sources said that there were no initial reports of injuries.
Palestinian fishermen depend on fishing as their only source of livelihood in the Gaza Strip, but the Israeli navy continuously attacks their fishing boats, preventing them from providing for their families.

Israeli naval forces opened fire Wednesday morning on several Palestinian fishing boats while sailing off the coast of the northern Gaza Strip.
Eyewitnesses said Israeli gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishermen boats north of the al-Sudaniya area and forced them to retreat ashore.
There were no immediate reports of casualties and the extent of damage caused in the attack.
On a near-daily basis, the Israeli army fires at Palestinian fisherman, farmers, and shepherds for allegedly entering the Israeli-enforced “buffer zone,” a unilaterally declared area implemented after Israel imposed a blockade on the Gaza Strip a decade ago.
Due to the high frequency of the attacks, live fire often goes unreported.
The Gaza Strip has been under an Israeli blockade since 2006. The blockade has caused a decline in the standards of living as well as unprecedented levels of unemployment and unrelenting poverty.
