On Thursday at dawn, several Israeli military vehicles, including armored bulldozers, invaded Palestinian agricultural lands close to the border fence east of Gaza city, and Jabalia town, in the northern part of the coastal region, and fired many live rounds while bulldozing the lands.
The WAFA Palestinian News Agency said at least three tanks, and four bulldozers, left Nahal Oz military base, across the border fence, east of Sheja’eyya neighborhood, east of Gaza city, and advanced dozens of meters before uprooting large areas of these lands.
The soldiers also deployed smoke bombs, and fired many live rounds, while military drones hovered overhead.
Furthermore, four Israeli vehicles, including a bulldozer, invaded farmlands close to the border fence east of Jabalia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, and bulldozed them.
The army frequently invades and bulldozes Palestinian lands, close to the fence in the northern and eastern parts of the Gaza Strip, in addition to installing sand hills, and prevent the residents from approaching them.
On Wednesday evening, Israeli military vehicles, and bulldozers, carried out a limited invasion into Palestinian farmlands, close to the border fence, in Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, while army drones flew overhead.

An IDF Skylark drone crashes in the Gaza Strip for unknown reasons; the IDF is investigating the circumstances of the crash and states that no information was compromised.
An IDF Skylark drone crashed in the southern Gaza Strip Monday. The IDF said it was investigating the crash, also stating there was no fear of leaked information from the aircraft.
Monday's crash is the latest in a series of crashes over the past several years on the northern border, Gaza and the West Bank. Just last Thursday, another Skylark crashed near Bethlehem before being recovered by the IDF.
In May, a Skylark crashed in Lebanon near the village of Ayta ash Shab during the course of operations. At the time, the IDF issued a statement claiming no classified information had been compromised.
Similarly, last March, another Skylark crashed in the northern Gaza Strip near the Shuja'iyya neighborhood. Several days later, the IDF issued a statement claiming that the crash was the result of a human error and that no "security damage" was caused.
The Skylark—manufactured by Elbit systems—is the smallest drone currently in service with the IDF. It is utilized primarily by the Artillery Corps for tactical reconnaissance.

Hamas Movement on Tuesday held Israel responsible for its “folly and irresponsible policies.”
The Movement also warned against the risks posed by such hostile acts and held the "Israeli enemy" responsible for the serious repercussions if such acts reoccur.
Spokesman for the group Fawzi Barhoum earlier denied Israeli claims that a rocket attack was carried out by ISIS elements in Gaza Strip and hit Israeli targets late Monday.
"Such statements are only a failed attempt to justify this serious escalation against the Strip," he added.
Israeli fighter jets have carried out multiple airstrikes overnight on a number of resistance sites throughout the Gaza Strip without causing any injuries.

According to the PIC field reporter, several of the early Tuesday raids targeted Bader site belonging to the Ezzedeen al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas Movement, located to the west of the Strip.
No injuries were reported during the air raid; however, material damage was caused to the neighboring houses.
Israeli fighter planes also engaged in strikes against Mohamed Abu Harb resistance site in Rafah, located to the south of the Strip.
Palestinian farming lands to the east of Gaza were also targeted by Israeli mortar fire in Juhr al-Dik area, south of Gaza City, without causing any injuries.
Israel claims that the attacks were launched is response to a rocket fired from the Gaza Strip which landed near Sha'ar Hanegev settlement.
Israel has launched several wars on Gaza Strip, the last of which began in early July 2014. The military aggression, which ended on August 26, 2014, killed nearly 2,200 Palestinians and injured 11,100 others.

Israeli rights group B’Tselem released a report on Thursday, which deemed Israel’s killing of 23-year-old Muhammad Bakr off the coast of the northern Gaza Strip while he was fishing in May “unjustifiable,” and noted that Muhammad was killed even while within Israel’s unilaterally-declared “designated fishing zone” in Gaza, contradicting Israeli army reports.
According to field research conducted by B’Tselem, Muhammad and his relatives were fishing three nautical miles off the coast of Gaza, within Israel’s designated zone, in contradiction to the Israeli army’s version of events, as a spokesperson told Ma’an in May that Israeli forces opened live ammunition on the boat after it “deviated from the designated fishing zone” and continued to advance further into sea.
As part of Israel's blockade of the coastal enclave since 2007, Palestinian fishermen have been required to work within a limited "designated fishing zone," or buffer zone, the exact limits of which are decided by the Israeli authorities and have historically fluctuated.
The Israeli army routinely opens fire on Palestinian fishermen along the buffer zone, and each time the Israeli army contends that the Palestinians had strayed outside of the zone.
B’Tselem’s research found that Israeli navy boats had approached them, and one Israeli vessel stopped at the border of the fishing zone and the other “continued high-speed toward the fishermen,” while soldiers opened live ammunition and rubber bullets at the fishing boat.
Even as the fishermen attempted to flee the scene, the Israeli navy followed them and opened fire again at them when they reached 10-20 meters from the boat off the coast of Jabaliya, according to B’Tselem.
Fadi Bakr, Muhammad’s brother, told B’Tselem that he had originally thought that his brother was struck with a rubber bullet, but saw that Muhammad had been hit with a live bullet close to his heart. When the soldiers arrived they ordered them to stand at the front of the boat, but they screamed that Muhammad had been shot, and lifted his body up so Israeli soldiers could see for themselves.
According to Fadi, the soldiers took Muhammad toward Ashdod port. “We came home without my brother Muhammad, who had set out with us in the morning to work and make a living for himself and his family,” Fadi told B’Tselem.
Upon returning to Gaza’s shores Muhammad's two brothers and cousin who were on the boat underwent interrogations for several hours with the Hamas Marine police, B’Tselem noted.
After learning that Muhammad was being treated at Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon, Muhammad’s father received an Israeli--issued permit to visit him. “But by the time he reached the hospital, Muhammad had passed away,” B’Tselem stated.
Omar Bakr, a fisherman who had helped Muhammad’s brothers and cousin following the incident, told B’Tselem that Gaza’s fishermen “pay for working at sea with our lives.”
“When we set out we feel as if we’re entering a firing zone, because the Israeli navy chases us and shoots at us. They try to stop us from fishing by firing live bullets at us, arresting us and damaging our boats. Fishing has become a very difficult job, because the Israeli navy chases us even within the zone in which we are allowed to fish.”
B’Tselem also noted that it had received statistics from Gaza’s fishing department in the Ministry of Agriculture, which stated that Israeli forces in 2016 had detained 113 Palestinian fishermen, and shot and injured 10, while Israeli forces have confiscated 38 motorized flat boats and eight boats without motors.
The department estimated that the price of the damages caused by these Israeli activities in Gaza has amounted to approximately half a million dollars.
“As long as Israel maintains this policy, innocent fishermen will sadly continue to risk their lives in an attempt to make a living for their families. Some will return safely. Others will be arrested, injured or killed,” B’Tselem stated in the report.
“No one in Israel will be held accountable for the attacks, and the usual whitewashing formalities will be applied to these ongoing acts of violence.”
According to Ma’an documentation, Bakr is one of 34 Palestinians to be killed by Israeli forces since the start of 2017, five of whom have been killed in Gaza.

Israeli military bulldozers moved on Thursday morning into eastern Jabalia camp, north of Gaza Strip, and leveled Palestinian lands.
According to local sources, four Israeli military bulldozers moved 60 meters into eastern Jabalia, near the Eastern Cemetery.
The Israeli bulldozers, escorted by artillery vehicles, razed Palestinian lands near the border fence. Israeli reconnaissance drones kept hovering over the territory all the way through the incursion.
The incursion is another chain in Israel’s violations of the Cairo-brokered ceasefire deal struck with the Palestinian resistance in the wake of the 2014 military offensive on the besieged coastal enclave of Gaza.

In a statement issued over the weekend, UNRWA Commissioner-General Pierre Krahenbühl marked 50 years of occupation of the Palestinian territory – the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and Gaza – and called on the international community to take action.
The statement said that the 2014 conflict had a devastating psychosocial impact on individuals and communities in Gaza, adding to the effect already felt from almost ten years of blockade and previous conflicts.
“The shock of losing a home and family members, and returning to neighborhoods to find them destroyed, erodes every sense of certainty and hope in the future”. The organization added, according to Al Ray.
The unprecedented human, social and physical devastation during the 2014 conflict had a particular impact on children, and many remain in need of psycho-social support.
According to the UNRWA Community Mental Health Programme (CMHP), children exposed to violence often express a loss of trust in others. Other common symptoms are eating disorders, nightmares or intense fear.
UNRWA said that CMHP counsellors play a critical role in supporting Palestine refugees of all ages. The CMHP currently maintains a network of almost 280 counsellors and 80 psychosocial facilitators in UNRWA schools supported by a team of supervisors and assistant supervisors, as well as a Senior Mental Health and Psycho-Social Support (MHPSS) Specialist.
The programme also employs 23 counsellors and 5 legal advisors at health centres across Gaza. They collectively support children and adults, not only through individual and group counselling, but targeted interventions aimed at enhancing psychosocial resiliency and well-being.
Over the past years, the UNRWA Community Mental Health Programme (CMHP) has moved towards the Mental Health Psycho-Social Support (MHPSS) model to provide a more holistic and integrated approach that extends beyond counselling.
According to the report, counsellors help ensure that the children of Gaza are equipped with the life skills to succeed in life, working closely with teachers to reinforce problem-solving, interpersonal relationships, support for their peers, respect and tolerance for others, and self-care and stress management.
In UNRWA health centres, CMHP psychosocial and legal counsellors provide comprehensive support, mainly to women, many of whom have experienced Gender-Based Violence (GBV), through individual counselling, group support, and relevant legal advice.
In 2016, the CMHP supported 4,217 adults and 10,218 children through individual counselling, with an additional 1,425 and 8,710 benefiting from group counselling. Through public awareness and education sessions, over 80,000 parents and community members received information on a variety of topics including coping with stress, positive parenting and supporting children in distress, the report pointed out.
PLO Executive Committee Member Dr. Hanan Ashrawi strongly condemned a recent demand, by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to shut down the organization.
