Four Palestinians were shot and injured in their limbs by Israeli gunfire and dozens of others suffered breathing problems in clashes that erupted on Friday afternoon in the flashpoints east of the Gaza Strip.
The PIC reporter in Khan Younis said that Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) showered Palestinian youths with bullets and tear gas grenades. The wounded were transferred to the hospital while those who suffered suffocation were treated in the field, he added.
The Palestinian youths were demonstrating near the security fence which separates the city from 1948 Occupied Palestine.
The PIC reporters in Gaza said that demonstrations, which were organized in solidarity with the hunger striking detainees in Israeli jails and in protest at the ongoing Gaza siege, took place in five flashpoints with IOF soldiers east of Khan Younis, al-Bureij refugee camp, Gaza city, and in northern Gaza Strip.
The youths torched car tires at al-Awdah Street east of the Gaza Strip and managed to hoist the Palestinian flags at the Israeli security fence.

A Palestinian “youth” was injured Monday evening during clashes in central Gaza, along the border with Israel, when Israeli forces shot the Palestinian in the leg with live ammunition.
Medical sources in Gaza told Ma’an that the Palestinian, who sources said was in his twenties, was injured in his right leg, and was in moderate condition at the Shuhada al-Aqsa hospital in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian, whose identity remained unknown, was injured during clashes east of the Bureij refugee camp, that had erupted after Palestinians took to the border to protest in solidarity with some 1,300 Palestinian prisoners, who entered their 36th day of hunger strike on Monday.
An Israeli army spokesperson said they were looking into reports.

14 Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire while 30 others choked on teargas after Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at angry demonstrators east of Gaza Strip on Friday.
IOF soldiers opened gunfire and unleashed tear gas grenades towards participants in the Friday of anger demonstrations that were held in solidarity with hunger striking captives in Israeli jails and in protest at the Gaza siege.
In a press statement on Friday, the spokesman of Health Ministry, Ashraf al-Qudra, described the injury of one of the wounded as very serious and reported that the foot of another man was amputated due to being shot by an explosive bullet.

Palestinian masses in Gaza bade farewell on Tuesday afternoon to the fisherman Mohammad Baker, 28, who was killed by Israeli gunfire while he was fishing off the northern Gaza sea on Monday.
According to Palestinian Fishermen Captain Nizar Ayyash, Israeli navy gunboats unleashed their machinegun fire towards Gazan fishermen on Monday morning.
Baker was seriously injured and then arrested along with two of his family members by Israeli forces, Ayyash pointed out. He succumbed to his serious injuries later in the evening in an Israeli hospital, he added.

Palestinian fisherman Mohammed Bakir, 28, succumbed to serious wounds inflicted earlier Monday by Israeli navy forces off the coast of northern Gaza Strip.
Zakariya Bakir, the head of fishermen committees in the union of agricultural producers, said that Mohammed, who was hit with a bullet in the chest, was transferred to an Israeli hospital but died during treatment.

The gunboats then surrounded a fishing boat belonging to Amin Abu Warda, 49, sailing within 2 nautical miles, and manned by his three sons, Yousif, 27, Mohammed, 24, and Hussein, 13. All of them are from Jabalia.
The Israeli naval soldiers forced them to take off their clothes, jumped into the eater and swim towards the Israeli gunboat; the fishermen were then arrested while the boat was confiscated.”
