Israeli soldiers continued, on Wednesday night, the bombardment of several parts of the Gaza Strip, killing one man in northern Gaza, and wounding at least eight others.
The Health Ministry in Gaza has confirmed that Israeli soldiers killed Ali al-Ghandour, 30, in northern Gaza, and wounded at least two others, one seriously.
The slain Palestinian, and the wounded, were moved to the Indonesian Hospital, in northern Gaza.
The Palestinians who were attacked were in a car which was struck by a missile fired by an Israeli army drone.
The Health Ministry added that Israeli missiles also mildly injured three Palestinians in Gaza city, before they were rushed to the Shifa Medical Center.
Furthermore, the army fired shells into Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza, mildly wounding one Palestinian, who was moved to Al-Aqsa Hospital.
The Israeli missiles also targeted areas in Rafah city, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, while at least seven missiles struck the Sudaniyya area, northwest of Gaza city, in addition to another sites, west of Gaza city, while an army drone fired a missile into a resistance center in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.
Media sources in Gaza said the targeted areas in Gaza included a concrete factory, which was hit with three missiles.
The Israeli army claimed that it struck twelve targets in Gaza, including one tunnel, after four shells were reportedly fired from the coastal region by Palestinian resistance fighters, causing injuries and damage inside Israel.
The Israeli army added that the Iron Dome missile interception system managed to down eleven additional shells.
Israeli Ynet News quoted a source at Barzilai Hospital stating that eight Israelis were lightly wounded, in addition to one man, who suffered moderate wounds and was rushed to surgery.
It added that seventeen Israelis “were injured, most of whom were treated for shock”, and said that “three pregnant women started having labor contractions due to the stress.”

For its part, the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine said the Palestinian resistance fired shells in “retaliation for the ongoing and escalating Israeli crimes, including the killing of two Qassam fighters of Hamas during training.”
“The retaliation by the Palestinian resistance is legitimate; the enemy must understand that it cannot keep killing and attacking our people, and covering its crimes with lies and fabrications.”
Both the Islamic Jihad and the al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas, said that the Palestinian armed resistance will retaliate in response to the Israeli escalation, and affirmed that “Israeli bombardment will be met by Palestinian shelling, escalation will be met by retaliation.”

Two members of the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas Movement, were killed Tuesday morning by Israeli shelling north of the Gaza Strip.
The brigades mourned in a statement issued earlier today two if its members who were killed in the shelling of its Ashkelon site in Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.
The two martyrs were identified as Ahmed Morjan and Abdel Hafez al-Silawi.

At least two Palestinian citizens were injured Monday afternoon by an Israeli airstrike east of Gaza city.
The PIC reporter said that an Israeli drone fired two missiles at a group of Palestinian youths east of Gaza.
He added that two youths were injured in the attack and later transferred to a local hospital for treatment.

Ahmad al-'Aidi, 17, succumbed to wounds he sustained sometime earlier during an Israeli attack against the Great March of Return protests to the east of al-Bureij refugee camp, in central Gaza Strip.
Ahmad’s father, Jihad, said his son was pronounced dead at the Shifaa Medical Complex.
166 Palestinians were killed as a result of Israeli aggressions on the Great March of Return protests, kickstarted on March 30. The bodies of eight casualties have been withheld by the occupation forces.

Israeli navy ships attacked, Sunday, several fishing boats in Palestinian territorial waters along the coastal line in northern Gaza.
The WAFA Palestinian News Agency said the navy fired many live rounds at the boats, and sprayed them with water cannons, forcing the fishermen back to shore.
Earlier Sunday, the navy fired many live rounds at Palestinian fishing boats in central Gaza, also forcing the fishermen to sail back to shore, in fear of further Israeli violations.
Last month, Israeli unilaterally decreased the fishing zone to the fishermen in Gaza from six to three nautical miles, also until further notice.
In late February of this year, the navy killed a Palestinian fisherman, identified as Ismael Saleh Abu Ryala, 18, from Shati’ refugee camp, west of Gaza city.
There are more than 4000 fishers and around 700 boats in the Gaza Strip providing livelihood to dozens of at least 70.000 Palestinians, while the Israeli military and navy keep attacking them, kidnapping them and confiscating their boats, in addition to the dozens of casualties, including fatalities, resulting from these violations.
It is worth mentioning that, under the Oslo Peace Agreement, signed between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization in 1993, the fishing zone was set at twenty nautical miles, where the Palestinians are supposed to be able to fish and sail, but Israel kept violating the agreement.

In late February of this year, the navy killed a Palestinian fisherman, identified as Ismael Saleh Abu Ryala, 18, from Shati’ refugee camp, west of Gaza city.
There are more than 4000 fishers and around 700 boats in the Gaza Strip providing livelihood to dozens of at least 70.000 Palestinians, while the Israeli military and navy keep attacking them, kidnapping them and confiscating their boats, in addition to the dozens of casualties, including fatalities, resulting from these violations.
It is worth mentioning that, under the Oslo Peace Agreement, signed between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization in 1993, the fishing zone was set at twenty nautical miles, where the Palestinians are supposed to be able to fish and sail, but Israel kept violating the agreement.

A Palestinian youth was injured Saturday evening after being shot by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) east of al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The PIC reporter said that the IOF soldiers stationed at the border fence near the Great March of Return camps opened fire at a group of peaceful protesters east of al-Bureij camp.
He added that a Palestinian youth was moderately injured and transferred to a local hospital for treatment.
The Great March of Return was launched on 30th March along Gaza's border with the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories to demand the Palestinian refugees' right of return and call for lifting Gaza blockade.
Since the start of the border protests, 157 Palestinians have been killed, including 22 children, and over 16,000 injured.

An Israeli drone on Saturday targeted a group of Palestinian citizens near the border fence east of Jabalia town, north of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources said that the drone fired at least one missile at a group of Palestinians flying kites east of Jabalia. No casualties were reported.

The Health Ministry in Gaza has reported that a child died, on Saturday morning, from serious wounds he suffered a day earlier, after Israeli soldiers shot him with live fire.
The Health Ministry said the child, identified as Moath Ziad Soori, 15, died from serious wounds he suffered during the Great Return March procession, east of the al-Boreij refugee camp, in central Gaza.
The child, who was shot with a live round in the abdomen, was rushed to a hospital, but remained in a critical condition until he succumbed to his serious injuries, Saturday. Moath was from Nusseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza.
On the same day of his injury, the soldiers killed a Palestinian, identified as Ahmad Yahia Atallah Yaghi, 25, after shooting him east of the Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza city, and injured 220 Palestinians, including 90 who were shot with live fire, in the Gaza Strip.
Their deaths bring the number of Palestinians, who were killed by Israeli army fire in the Gaza Strip since March 30th, 2018, to 157, while 17259 have been injured; 9071 of the wounded were moved to hospitals and 8188 received treatment in field clinics; 3279 of the injured are children, and 1553 are women.
Twenty-three of the slain Palestinians are children, in addition to three women, including a medic, identified as Razan Ashraf Najjar, 22.
There are 404 wounded Palestinians who are still in critical conditions, while 4141 suffered moderate wounds and 4354 suffered mild injuries.
The soldiers also killed another medic, identified as Mousa Abu Hassanein, 36, and caused damage to 59 Palestinian ambulances.
