Israeli warplanes blasted a previous base for national security south of Gaza city at a late night hour on Wednesday with no casualties reported.
PIC reporter said that Israeli F-16 warplanes raided the same position twice, adding that it was vacant and nobody was hurt.
He said that the warplanes continued to fly over the Gaza Strip with no other raids reported.
Israeli warplanes raided two positions for the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, on Wednesday morning also without inflicting casualties.
Ashaal: Israel feels free to attack Gaza and cause regional chaos
Egyptian professor of political science Abdullah Al-Ashaal warned that the way is wide open for the Israeli regime not only to wage war on the Gaza Strip, but also to manipulate the Arab political scene as a whole.
"As long as there is no international deterrent against Israel, the way is open widely for it to do whatever it likes in the Gaza Strip, and perhaps Gaza may turn into an arena to test the new Egyptian leadership," Ashaal told Quds Press.
"Israel wants to know how the reactions of the new Egyptian leadership will be and whether they will be like the former government's attitude or they will be different," he added.
"Israel has confused the situation in the Sinai and now it is talking about jihadist attacks against it coming from the Egyptian territory, and thus it wants to know how much the new Egyptian leadership is capable to stop them," the Egyptian professor stated.
He stressed that Egypt should act strongly to respond to Israel and help the resistance improve their tools to confront the Israeli occupation forces.
Gaza Strip has witnessed a rise in Israeli military attacks and activities in the past few weeks.
Many Palestinians were killed or wounded in Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling on different targets in Gaza, in addition to the assassination of some Palestinian resistance figures.
This escalation of attacks is causing fears and worries for Palestinians of a massive war that might be underway, as the Israeli media never stop reporting preparations by the Israeli army along Gaza border areas for a large military operation in Gaza, in addition to threats by Israeli officials.
This escalation brings to mind the 2008 war known as Operation Cast Lead.
This massive offensive had killed then about 1, 400 Palestinians, mostly civilians, and caused large-scale destruction which Gaza has not recovered from yet.
The Palestinian resistance factions seem to be observing Israel's military moves and threats very vigilantly and preparing for the worst.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) waged at dawn Wednesday a spate of air raids on different resistance stations in Beit Lahiya district to the north of Gaza.
Eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that the Israeli aerial attacks were swift and devastating like the first strikes in the 2008 war on Gaza.
They said the warplanes fired five missiles at a resistance post known as "the wall" belonging to Hamas's armed wing Al-Qassam Brigades, which is located behind Sheikh Zayed towers in Beit Lahiya.
The warplanes also bombed another resistance post belonging to Al-Qassam Brigades known as the site of martyred leader Ibrahim Makadmeh, which is located behind Beit Lahiya club.
A medical source said the ambulances rushed to the scenes, but no casualties were found or reported.
The Israeli military aerial and artillery attacks that started a week ago have caused noticeable panic among the civilians in Gaza especially among the children.
In a related incident, local residents reported they saw wide military activities along the eastern borderline of Gaza.
The residents told Quds Press that they spotted at an early morning hour on Tuesday active moves of military trucks and vehicles distributing weapons and equipment to military posts along the eastern borderline.
They added the distribution of military supplies was carried out under intensive flight of different warplanes over Gaza border areas.
A few days earlier, the Israeli army had launched surveillance balloons over Gaza to monitor resistance activities.
These military moves are taking place as the Israeli army keeps threatening to wage another large-scale war on Gaza similar to the one that happened in 2008.
IOF soldiers raid Al-Khalil villages
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided four villages surrounding Al-Khalil and searched many homes after occupying main roads leading to them.
Eyewitnesses told the PIC that IOF soldiers used police dogs in the search campaign at dawn Wednesday and forced citizens out of their homes for hours.
They said that IOF armored vehicles were stationed at the southern entrance to Dura town and searched some of the passing cars and checked IDs.
Roadblocks were also seen at the northern entrance to Arub refugee camp and the Gush Etzion intersection to the north of Al-Khalil.

The agricultural sector in the network of Palestinian NGOs strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces attack, on Tuesday morning, on a group of farmers while they were reaping olive fruits in their lands, close to the banned border area of Beit Hanoun, in the northern Gaza Strip.
The agricultural sector noted that the Israeli soldiers, deployed in Beit Hanoun "Erez", opened fire at a group of farmers and volunteers while they were reaping their olive crop in the agricultural land in Beit Hanoun, adding that no injuries have been reported.
It confirmed that this attack, carried out by the occupation forces, aimed to prevent farmers from reaching their lands with the help of volunteers from members of the Local Initiative and the foreign solidarity activists, and that it comes within the framework of a series of crimes committed by the occupation and the gangs of settlers against farmers in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
The agricultural sector called for an immediate and urgent international move to protect Palestinian farmers, to ensure them access to their lands and to prosecute the occupation and the settlers for their ongoing crimes.
It also asserted on the continuation of the voluntary campaign in support of Palestinian farmers during olive harvest season, as an emphasis on their inherent right to safe and free access to their lands.

The health ministry in Gaza charged the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) with using incendiary bombs in their raids on the Gaza Strip over the past few days.
Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, the ministry’s spokesman, said in a statement on Sunday evening that the Israeli forces were using internationally banned incendiary bombs against the unarmed people of Gaza.
He condemned the use of excessive violence against densely populated areas in the Strip, charging that it was meant to inflict the biggest possible casualties among the citizens.
Five Palestinians were killed and five others were wounded in Israeli raids over the past two days.
Salahuddin Brigades vows reprisal to the killing of two cadres
The Nasser Salabuddin Brigades, the armed wing of the Popular Resistance Committees, vowed in a statement to avenge the Israeli killing of two of its cadres on Sunday evening.
It mourned the death of Ezzuddin Abu Nusaira and Ahmed Fatayer along with all martyrs who fell in the Israeli military escalation over the past couple of days.
“The new crime would only boost our insistence on the path of resistance and Jihad against occupation”, the armed wing said.
It called on its fighters to retaliate to the Israeli crimes and urged all resistance factions to unite in face of the “Zionist offensive”.

Two Palestinian citizens were killed and two others were wounded in a fresh Israeli air raid on Gaza afternoon Sunday, medical sources said.
Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, the health ministry’s spokesman, told the PIC reporter that the raid on central Gaza town of Dier Al-Balah targeted a man on his motorbike.
He said that Ezzuddin Abu Nusaira and Ahmed Fatayer were killed in the bombing while two others were moderately to seriously injured.
The victims of Israeli aerial raids on Gaza in less than 24 hours thus rose to five martyrs.

A relative of Palestinian militant Yasser al-Atal mourns over his body
Two men were killed and two others seriously injured in an Israeli airstrike on central Gaza on Sunday afternoon, medics said.
Israeli warplanes launched a deadly strike on a tuk-tuk vehicle in Deir al-Balah, Gaza health ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qidra told Ma'an. He said the casualties were all evacuated to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah.
Medics identified the victims as 23-year-old Izz Addin Abu Nuseira, and 22-year-old Ahmad Abu Fatayir who succumbed to his injuries upon arrival at hospital.
Israel's army said it targeted a "terrorist squad" who had just fired a rocket from the central Gaza Strip at Israel, adding that a hit was confirmed.
The two victims brought Gaza's death toll from Israeli airstrikes to 5 within 24 hours.
Yasser al-Atakal, 24, was killed in an airstrike on Sunday morning as he rode his motorbike east of Khan Younis, and another person was seriously wounded. An Israeli military spokesman said the men had been preparing to fire rockets into Israel.
On Saturday evening, Israel killed two top Salafi militants in a similar attack in the northern town of Jabalia.
The victims were identified as Hisham Al-Saedni and Ashraf al-Sabah, while a 10-year-old boy who was passing by the area was also wounded, a Ma'an correspondent said.
On Sunday, Gaza's Ministry of Health slammed what it described as excessive violence against unarmed Palestinian civilians which deliberately targeted densely-populated areas with lethal weapons, a statement said.
Funerals
Hundreds of supporters gathered near al-Saedni's home in al-Bureij camp on Sunday to mourn the Salafi leader, who was also known as Abu al-Walid al-Maqdisi.
"The martyrdom of Abu al-Walid al-Maqdisi will not end Jihad against the Jews, but rather open the door to more painful attacks," Salafi leader Abu Huthayfa said during the funeral.
"We have been fighting the Jews and the occupation before the assassination of Abu al-Walid al-Maqdisi, and after he was assassinated we will fight more viciously."
Al-Saedni kept a low profile since his release from Gaza jail in September 2011. "The last period of the martyr’s life was very secret and I haven’t seen him for months even though I am his cousin and married to his sister," al-Saedni’s brother-in-law Abu Muhammad told Ma'an.
The Tawhid and Jihad group headed by al-Saedni recently started to claim responsibility for militant attacks on Israel, leading al-Saedni to act cautiously and live separately from his children, Abu Muhammad said.
The funerals were a rare public display of Salafism in Gaza, which has provoked periodic crackdowns from the Hamas government.

Palestinians wheel the body of a militant at a hospital, following an Israeli air strike in the northern Gaza Strip Oct. 13, 2012
An Israeli air strike in Gaza killed a Palestinian gunman and wounded another on Sunday, hospital officials said, hours after Israel killed the leader of a Salafi militant group.
An Israeli military spokesman said the men targeted in southern Gaza had been preparing to fire rockets into Israel.
Medics said Yasser al-Atakal, 24, was killed in the strike on his motorbike east of Khan Younis, and another person was seriously wounded.
The air strike came hours after Israel killed two other militants in a similar attack in the northern town of Jabalia late on Saturday.
Both Hamas, the Islamist group that rules Gaza, and Israel identified one of the men killed in the earlier attack as Salafi leader Hisham Al-Saedni, 52, also known as Abu Al-Walid Al-Maqdisi.
Medics said the other man killed in the strike was Al-Saedni's bodyguard Fayiq Abu-Jather.
Hamas said Saedni had headed Tawhid and Jihad (One God and Holy War), a group with an Islamist ideology shared by al-Qaida, while the Israeli military said he had helped found a kindred militant Salafi movement, the Hashura Council of the Mujahideen.
Saedni had recently been planning a attack that would be carried out in the neighboring Egyptian Sinai, the Israeli military said in a statement. The desert peninsula has seen a surge of Islamist militant activity during the political upheaval rocking Cairo since early 2011.
A number of Jihadist Salafi groups have surfaced in Gaza in recent years. Unlike Hamas, they endorse an ideology of global Jihad and some accuse Hamas of failing to implement Islamic laws in the coastal enclave.
Al-Saedni became notorious after men claiming affiliation to Tawhid and Jihad kidnapped Italian political activist Vittorio Arrigoni in April 2011, and demanded the Salafi leader's release from Hamas-run jail in exchange.
Al-Saedni was called in by security forces to negotiate with the kidnappers during a police raid, which ended in two of the kidnappers being shot. The Salafi leader was released from Gaza jail in September 2011 and has since kept a low profile.
Israel says it holds Hamas responsible for any attacks launched from Gaza, which has been under the group's control since 2007. Hamas rejects permanent peace with Israel and the border is tense with frequent clashes. About 40 rockets have been fired from Gaza into Israel in October.
Israeli raids on Gaza kill three Palestinians, wound child
Israeli warplanes waged a series of air raids on Saturday night and at dawn Sunday killing three Palestinians and wounding a child in southern and northern Gaza.
Medical sources told the PIC that an Israeli reconnaissance plane fired two missiles at a motorbike to the south east of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, at dawn Sunday killing one and wounding another.
The sources identified the martyr as Yasser Al-Attal, a member of the armed wing of the popular front for the liberation of Palestine – general command.
Earlier on Saturday night, Israeli warplanes targeted another motorbike in Jabalia, north of the Strip, killing Hisham Al-Suaidani, the commander of the Shura council of the Mujahideen for Beit Al-Makdas, and his comrade.
Ashraf Al-Qudra, the health ministry spokesman, told the PIC reporter that the raid killed two men and injured a child who was passing near the site of the attack.
Local sources told the PIC that the Israeli warplanes fired two missiles at the motorbike before raiding a training ground for the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, to the east of Zaitun suburb in Gaza city without inflicting casualties.
Ghussein warns against Israeli intention to escalate its aggression on Gaza
Head of the government information office in Gaza, Ihab Ghussein, stated that the recent Israeli aggression on Gaza reflects the Israeli internal crisis, warning against escalating aggression with the Israeli elections approaching.
"We observe the dangerous continued Israeli escalation against civilians in the Gaza Strip in light of the war crimes carried out by the occupation in systematic violation of international and humanitarian laws,"Ghussein said in a statement published on his Facebook page early on Sunday.
He stressed that this Israeli escalation, 3 Palestinians were killed on Saturday evening when the army fired a missile at two motorcycles driving in Jabalaia town and Khan Yunis, confirmed the Israeli intention to drive the Gaza strip to a new confrontation before the Israeli elections.
"This escalation carries serious implications. It reflects the internal Israeli crisis, and it comes in light of electoral competition that occupation always tried to achieve its political and electoral aims at the expense of the Palestinian innocent blood," he said.
"The unity of our people and our resistance is enough to repel this Israeli aggression," he said, stressing that the Palestinian resistance proved during the past period its ability to response to any Israeli attack.

Palestinians wheel the body of a militant at a hospital, following an Israeli air strike in the northern Gaza Strip
An Israeli airstrike on northern Gaza killed one person and injured two others on Saturday, a Ma'an correspondent said.
The strike targeted a motorbike in the city of Jabalia, instantly killing one man and injuring two others. The wounded were taken to hospital for treatment, with one said to be in a critical condition.
Another airstrike east of Gaza City targeted a building belonging to the military wing of Hamas, the Al-Qassam brigades, Ma'an's correspondent quoted witnesses as saying.
Israel's army said it had targeted "terror operatives of the (Shura) Council of the Mujahideen, a Gaza-based Global Jihad affiliate," a statement said.
No militant group in Gaza claimed the men as members, but the Shura Council of the Mujahideen did claim responsibility for a rocket that was fired into Israel on Friday and that landed near a house in the Israeli town of Netivot.
Earlier Saturday, Israeli warplanes attacked multiple targets in the Gaza Strip, with no reported injuries.
The first attack targeted a training site for Hamas' military wing in the Sheikh Marwan neighborhood in Gaza City. The strike caused material damage to the site and surrounding buildings.
A second attack struck a training site used by resistance factions near Gaza's power plant in Nuseirat refugee camp, Ma'an's reporter said.
In a statement, the Israeli military said it targeted "a terror activity site in the northern Gaza Strip, and two terror activity sites in the central Gaza Strip. Direct hits were confirmed."

The Israeli occupation regime waged three aerial attacks at dawn Saturday on different areas in the densely populated Gaza Strip.
Eyewitness from the targeted areas told a reporter for the Palestinian information center (PIC) that Israeli warplanes bombed an area at the entrance of Bureij refugee camp and another area in Nuseirat refugee camp as well as an empty area north of Gaza city. The eyewitnesses reported no casualties among the civilians, but they said the air raids caused material damage to some property and panic among the residents.
The Israeli occupation forces escalated aggression against the Palestinians in Gaza last Monday and killed one Palestinian and wounded many others including children in an airstrike prompting the resistance to launch counterattacks against Israeli targets.
Despite its keenness on maintaining calm in Gaza, Hamas seems unable to stand by idly all the time watching its people killed and wounded in Israeli attacks and it has warned the Israeli regime many times that its patience towards its daily crimes in Gaza cannot be tested for long.
In a related incident, a spokesman for the Israeli government, Ofer Gendelman, claimed that one Israeli settler was slightly wounded on Friday in a rocket attack from Gaza on Netivot settlement south of the 1948 occupied lands.
Immediately after the incident, the Israeli government threatened to strongly respond to the attack and labeled the counterattacks launched by the Palestinian resistance as "terrorist".
According to Al-Jazeera Net website, the Israeli police said the missile exploded near a building in Netivot settlement without causing significant damage, but one settler was treated for shock.
Israel launches new military surveillance balloon over Gaza
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a new military surveillance zeppelin over the eastern area of the Gaza Strip on Friday night, the second in 48 hours.
A field observer told the Quds Press that the IOF launched the airship over Malaka area to the southeast of Zaitun suburb in Gaza city.
The military zeppelin was launched 48 hours after the first camera-equipped balloon was launched to monitor the vital border area of Juhr Addik and its vicinity especially after an Israeli military post near this area was targeted several times lately by the resistance.
This observation balloon has been spotted near an Israeli military post known as the "Camera Site," the second largest post along the Gaza borderline, and might be aimed at monitoring a wide distance including the whole area of Juhr Addik, parts of Zaitun neighborhood, the central district, and all the area of Migraqa.

Israeli forces deployed in the neighboring village of Zbobh also conducted combing operations along the apartheid wall without arrests.
In a separate incident, Israeli settlers started to construct a roadway to connect one settlement to other outposts built on Palestinian land south of Bethlehem.
Ahmad Salah, Coordinator of the Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlements, told Quds press that the settlers started two days ago to construct a roadway on an agricultural land in al-Khader village, south of Bethlehem, to connect between Daniel settlement and Ein Qasis settlement outpost.
Salah pointed out that the mentioned road is a 50-meter-long and 4-meter-wide road, noting that the road would seize part of Palestinian land in the town.
Salah recalled that settlers tried few months ago to grab this land and plant it with trees, but the land owners removed the trees. The settlers came again to establish the roadway on the Palestinian agricultural land.

Zahhar: Hamas taking Israeli invasion threats seriously
Dr. Mahmoud al-Zahhar, a leading figure in Hamas movement, warned the Israeli occupation of any attempt to wage a war on Gaza, stressing that Hamas has become stronger than before.
Zahhar said during a seminar organized on Saturday in Gaza that his movement is taking seriously the Israeli threats to wage a war on Gaza, and is preparing itself for the battle against the occupation.
He noted that Israel does not need justifications for striking the Gaza Strip, as it has been always and continuously attacking it through raids and daily abuses.
The Islamic resistance movement leader asserted that Hamas possesses "the means through which it can harm the enemy much more than in the war on Gaza of 2009, if it thinks of launching a new aggression on the Strip."
Concerning the Palestinian reconciliation, he stressed that it has been obstructed because of the inability of Mahmoud Abbas, President of the Palestinian Authority and Fatah movement, to implement the reconciliation terms upon which the two sides had agreed upon in Cairo in May 2011, pointing to holding of local elections in the West Bank, and to the ongoing political arrests against Hamas' supporters.
Zahhar pointed out that his movement would not take part in the local elections scheduled to take place in the West Bank because it would be "rigged".

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday evening launched a new military surveillance zeppelin over Juhr Addik district to the southeast of Gaza city.
A Palestinian field observer told Quds Press that the IOF utilized this camera-equipped balloon to monitor the vital border area of Juhr Addik and its vicinity, especially after an Israeli military post near this area was targeted several times lately by the resistance.

The IOF intends to use this airship to monitor any movements by resistance fighters or even civilians inside the areas to be covered.
The use of such an airship east of Juhr Addik at this time means that the IOF has never been in control of these targeted border areas, despite their repeated incursions and intensive military activities there.

Bardawil: Palestinian resistance becomes stronger
Salah Bardawil, a leader in Hamas movement, said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu cannot be intending to launch a new extensive war against Gaza and that "the Palestinian resistance possesses the means that enable it to defend itself and the Palestinian people."
Bardawil told Quds Press that any Israeli escalation against Gaza at the moment is "a gamble" and said: "there is no doubt that Netanyahu’s resorting to dissolving the Knesset reflects the size of disagreements among the enemy's leaders. Therefore, they are trying to divert attention from their conflicts by drawing the attention to Gaza."
“Netanyahu has resorted to dissolving the Knesset and called for early elections, while still at the height of his power to ensure wining the coming elections. I do not think that he will gamble by escalating attacks on the Gaza Strip, as Olmert had done earlier," added the Hamas leader.
He also stated that the occupation warplanes, which have been intensively flying since last night over Gaza, do not reflect a trend for launching a war against the Strip, at such a moment.
Bardawil also stressed that the resistance has learned lots from its war in 2008 against the occupation, and that it has developed its methods, and became stronger than ever before on the security as well as the military levels.
