Israeli warplanes bomb several targets in Gaza
Picture
Israeli warplanes on Tuesday night launched three airstrikes on different targets in the Gaza Strip.

Quds Press said, quoting local sources, that an Israeli drone fired several missiles toward a Palestinian resistance post in al-Zaitoun neighborhood east of Gaza city.

According to the news agency, the strike caused partial damages in the place and no injuries.

Meanwhile in Rafah, south of Gaza, an Israeli drone attacked Palestinians taking part in the Great March of Return's night protests and flying fire balloons toward the Israeli settlements neighboring the border. No one was injured.

The Palestinians in the Gaza Strip on 30 March 2018 started weekly protests along the border between the seaside area and the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories to demand the Palestinian refugees' right of return and pressure Israel to break the blockade.

Since the start of the border protests, the Palestinians have launched dozens of fire kites and balloons over the border fence, burning thousands of dunums of settler lands and inflicting heavy losses on the Israeli occupation.

Israeli warplanes or snipers stationed at the border fence constantly target any Palestinian suspected of making or flying these flaming objects.

Hundreds of Palestinians gathered on Tuesday to take part in the Great March of Return's coast protests north of Gaza.

The Israeli occupation forces heavily fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at the peaceful protesters who responded by throwing stones and burning car tires.

Medical sources reported that 13 Palestinians were injured including a journalist hit directly with a tear gas canister in the head.

A representative of the Great March of Return activists, speaking during the protests, affirmed that the night demonstrations will be resumed starting Tuesday.

Khader Habib, a member of the Higher National Committee for the Great March of Return and Breaking the Siege, said that the border protests will continue until they achieve their goals and break the blockade.

"We will fight the occupation with our simple weapons, and we will never wave the white flag," he stressed.

A few months ago, Gaza coast protests became a major part of the Great March of Return which was launched on 30 March 2018.

Since the start of the border protests, the Israeli occupation army has killed 271 Palestinians, and injured 29,000 others, about 500 of whom are in critical condition.

4 Palestinians shot, injured in Gaza's night protests

Four Palestinians were shot and injured with Israeli live ammunition during “Night Confusion” protests along the eastern borders of the besieged Gaza Strip, on late Monday.

Medical sources confirmed that one Palestinian was shot and injured in his foot, in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza. His medical condition was described as moderate.

Sources also confirmed that another Palestinian was shot and injured by Israeli forces in Rafah, in southern Gaza, while two other Palestinians were injured east of Jabaliya, in northern Gaza.

Hundreds of Palestinians gathered along the eastern borders of Gaza to protest against the nearly 12-year Israeli siege.

Sources added that protesters ignited a number of rubber tires on fire near the security border fence with Israel and threw rocks at Israeli forces.

Israeli forces repeatedly fired live ammunition and tear-gas bombs towards the large groups of protesters.

For several weeks, hundreds of Palestinian protesters, have been organizing, as well as participating in night protests, during which they set tires on fire and chant slogans through loud speakers, while marching towards the border with Israel. These protesters are also known as the "Night Confusion" unit.

Israeli bulldozers raze Palestinian lands in eastern Gaza

Several Israeli military vehicles entered into Palestinian lands along the eastern border fence of the besieged Gaza Strip, on Monday morning.

Witnesses told Ma'an that four Israeli D-9 military bulldozers entered dozens of meters into Palestinian lands in eastern Jabaliya in the northern Gaza Strip.

Israeli bulldozers razed and leveled lands under cover by Israeli drones.

Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers deployed in military towers in eastern Gaza City opened fire at a group of Palestinians.

Israeli military incursions inside the besieged Gaza Strip and near the "buffer zone," which lies on both land and sea sides of Gaza, have long been a near-daily occurrence.

The Israeli army also regularly detains and opens fire on unarmed Palestinian fishermen, shepherds, and farmers along the border areas if they approach the buffer zone, as the authorities have not made clear the precise area of the designated zone.

The practice has in effect destroyed much of the agricultural and fishing sector of the blockaded coastal enclave, which has been under an Israeli air, land and sea blockade for nearly 12 years.

Hamas holds Israel responsible for any escalation in Gaza
Picture
The Hamas Movement held the Israeli occupation state responsible for the consequences of its wanton aerial attacks on civilians and resistance sites in the Gaza Strip.

In press remarks on Friday, Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum condemned the Israeli air raids on Gaza as another crime against the Palestinian people, holding the Israeli government fully responsible for any developments resulting from its aggression.

Barhoum accused the Israeli government of seeking to find a scapegoat for its internal crises.

He affirmed that the Palestinian resistance knows how to deal with such criminal entity and break its equations, adding that the resistance would not hesitate to protect and defend its own people.

Gantz calls for Israel to 'act aggressively' after Gaza missiles
Picture
Benny Gantz, head of Kachol Lavan political party, called on overnight Thursday for Israel “to act aggressively against violations of our sovereignty and against an attack on the security of the state of Israel.”

Benny Gantz’s remark came after a number of missiles were fired from the besieged Gaza Strip towards southern and central Israel.

Israel’s Iron Dome aerial defense system was activated as a result of the launched missiles and intercepted most of them.

Following missiles fired at Israel, Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes targeting 100 sites across Gaza and injuring four Palestinians.

Hamas, resistance factions deny responsibility for missile attack
Picture
Palestinian resistance factions, including Hamas, have denied responsibility for the missile attack on Tel Aviv that happened last night.

In a brief statement on its website, al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas affirmed that it had nothing to do with the missile attack on Tel Aviv, adding that the incident happened as officials from Hamas and Egypt were holding a meeting in Gaza.

For its part, spokesman for Islamic Jihad Dawoud Shahab denied what he described as false Israeli claims about his Movement’s responsibility for the launch of missiles at Tel Aviv.

The Popular Resistance Committees also affirmed that its armed wing, Salahuddin Brigades, did not fire any rockets or missiles at Tel Aviv.

Earlier, the Israeli occupation army said that it had spotted two missiles in the airspace of Tel Aviv on Thursday night, claiming that they were fired from Gaza.

The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) in Gaza said that 45 air raids had taken place during the early morning hours of Friday and targeted civilian homes and facilities as well as agricultural tracts of land and resistance sites.

In addition to the material damage in the bombed areas, a man and his wife were reportedly injured during one of those aerial attacks.

Israeli gunboats also participated in the wanton aggression against Gaza and intensively opened fire towards Gaza waters and shores, particularly off the coast of Rafah.

In the same context, the Israeli occupation army said in a statement that its military helicopters and aircrafts had bombed about 100 targets across Gaza.

In retaliation, the Palestinian resistance announced their armed brigades launched several rockets at Israeli military sites and settlements near Gaza.

The air raids happened after Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu convened an emergency security meeting at the headquarters of the Israeli army to discuss the response to the firing of two missiles towards Tel Aviv.

The armed wings of the Palestinian resistance factions, including Hamas and Islamic Jihad, denied responsibility for the missile attack on Tel Aviv, while the Palestinian ministry of interior in Gaza launched an investigation into what happened.

The Israeli army announced that 100 sites were targeted across the Gaza Strip, in response to missiles reportedly fired from Gaza.

Palestinian factions denied responsibility for any missiles fired from Gaza.

Additionally, the Palestinian Ministry of Interior and Security in Gaza said in a statement that the fired missiles were against national and factional consensus.

The ministry said that necessary measures will be taken against those responsible.
