At approximately 12:00, Israeli occupying forces on tanks and armored personnel carriers opened fire at a number of Palestinian civilians who broke the curfew imposed on Jenin refugee camp. Three civilians were wounded:
1. Mohammed ‘Abdullah al-Sa’di, 18, wounded by a live bullet in the left hand that cut three fingers;

At approximately 01:00, Israeli occupying forces in military locations in the vicinity “Neve Dekalim” settlement, west of Khan Yunis, opened fire at Palestinian residential areas to the west and southwest of the settlement. The Israeli gunfire continued sporadically until 05:30, during which three Palestinian civilians were wounded:
1. ‘Arafat Ahmed Abu al-Rish, 28, wounded by shrapnel in the head and the limbs;
2. Ramzi Mohammed al-Ja’abir, 27, wounded by shrapnel in the face and the limbs; and
3. Khadra Jubeil Zo’rob, 55, wounded by shrapnel in the right thigh.
At the same time, Israeli occupying forces positioned at the Egyptian border south of Rafah shelled Palestinian houses in Block O in Rafah refugee camp. Seven Palestinian civilians were wounded:
1. ‘Aabdullah Ibrahim al-Hamaida, 25, wounded by shrapnel in the head;
2. Mohammed ‘Abdul ‘Aziz Abu Jazar, 19, wounded by shrapnel in the back;

In addition two houses were damaged:
1. Three artillery shells hit a 150-square-meter, asbestos-roofed house, owned by Fattum Hassan Kassuha, destroying the roof and a number of windows and doors.
2. Three artillery shells hit a 120-square-meter house, in which 4 persons live, owned by ‘Ali Rashid Abu Lebda, destroying some of its walls.
At approximately 17:00, Israeli occupying forces re-imposed a curfew on Jenin and its refugee camp, three hours before the time they had specified. They opened fire at Palestinian civilians who were trying to return home. Three civilians were wounded:

2. Yassin Ahmed Rusrus, 48, wounded by shrapnel in the right knee.
In addition, two houses were damaged:
1. Eight artillery shells hit a 300-square-meter, two-story house, in which 5 families comprising 36 persons live, owned by Mohammed Ahmed Rusrus, making large holes in walls and wounding the aforementioned brothers.
2. Seven artillery shells hit a 220-square-meter, two-story house, in which 3 families comprising 20 persons live, owned by ‘Omar Yousef al-Mallahi, making large holes in walls

14 Palestinian Civilians Killed in Assassination
In a continuation of the assassination policy officially adopted by the Israeli government against Palestinian activists and political leaders, an Israeli F-16 fighter jet attacked an apartment building in a highly populated area in Gaza City, killing 14 Palestinian civilians, including 8 children, and wounding more than 70, mostly children and women. Two women and their five children, and Sheikh Salah Shehada, his wife, daughter and bodyguard, were among the victims.
According to statements by Israeli occupying forces, the purpose of the attack was the assassination of Hamas leader, Sheikh Salah Mustafa Shehada, 49, from Beit Hanoun.
At approximately 23:55 on Monday, 22 July 2002, an Israeli F-16 fighter jet launched a missile at a 150-square-meter, two-story apartment building in al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza. Sheikh Salah Shehada, who is wanted by Israel, and his family were living on the upper floor of the building. The missile directly hit the building which located in a highly populated area. The house and two others were totally destroyed and several adjacent houses were seriously damaged.
Fourteen Palestinian civilians, including 8 children, the youngest of whom was only 2-month-old, were killed. Two women and their five children, and Sheikh Salah Shehada, his wife, daughter, daughter and bodyguard, were among the victims. More than 70 civilians were also wounded, two of whom are in critical condition.

9. Alaa’ Mohammed Matar,10;
10. Yousef Sobhi al-Shawa, 42, killed when he was in a visit to his neighbor, who was also wounded in the head; and
11. Sheikh Salah Mustafa Shehada, 49;
12. Leila Safira, 45, his wife;
13. Iman Salah Shehada, 15, his daughter; and
14. Zaher Nassar, 37, his bodyguard.
Properties destroyed or damaged included:
1. A 160-square-meter, three-story house, in which 3 families comprising 25 persons used to live, owned by Mohammed Inrahim Matar and brothers: the house was totally destroyed, six of its residents were killed and most of the others were wounded.
2. A 150-square-meter, iron-roofed house, in which 7 persons used to live, owned by Mahmoud al-Hweiti: the house was totally destroyed, three members of the family were killed and the others were wounded.
3. A 150-square-meter, iron-roofed house, in which 9 persons used to live, owned by Mohammed Subhi al-Hweiti: the house was totally destroyed and five members of the family were wounded.
4. A 150-square-meter, three-story house, in which 11 persons used to live, owned by Hassan Mahmoud Hijazi: the house was partially destroyed, most of its residents were wounded, and a car near the house was destroyed.
5. A 140-square-meter, two-story house, in which 7 persons used to live, owned by Rafiq Mahmoud Hijazi: the house was partially destroyed and some of its residents were wounded.

This was the second time in one week that Israeli occupying forces used F-16 fighter jets to attack houses in highly populated areas of the Gaza Strip, in attempts to assassinate activists of the Intifada. It is a grave precedent and a qualitative escalation of means used by Israeli occupying forces to conduct assassinations.

2. Murad ‘Abdul Rahman Abu Shawish, 39, wounded by a live bullet in the right side, while he was approximately 1600m away from the settlement.
In the morning, Israeli occupying soldiers in a military location inside “Beit Eil” settlement, north of Ramallah, fired at a car of the Palestinian Ministry of Interior that deliver the Ministry’s mail.

At approximately 01:00, Israeli occupying forces moved approximately 100m into al-Salam neighborhood, adjacent to the Egyptian border south of Rafah. They bulldozed a 1000-square-meter, asbestos-roofed car maintenance workshop owned by Hamadan Marzouq al-Sha’er. According to the owner, the workshop contained 40 oxygen cylinders and car maintenance machines.
He also added that he had worked in the workshop for a long time, due to Israeli repeated shelling of the area. Israeli forces also destroyed a car owned by Mohammed Hassan al-Lahwani, which was in the workshop.
At approximately 04:00, Israeli occupying forces, reinforced with heavy military vehicles, moved approximately 400m into Abu Hajjaj area in al-Qarara village, north of Khan Yunis. They surrounded four houses of the family of Abu Hajja and then raided them. They forced male residents of the houses to gather in a yard, and blocked women and children in one room of each house. Then, Israeli forces searched the houses and checked the identities of the males. They arrested seven.

As part of the policy of collective punishment adopted by Israeli occupying forces, and as an implementation of their threats to punish families of suicide bombers and wanted Palestinians, in the context of the discussion on deporting them from the West Bank to the Gaza Strip, Israeli occupying forces destroyed the homes of a number of these houses and arrested members of these families.
At approximately 01:30, Israeli occupying forces, reinforced with heavy military vehicles, moved into ‘Askar refugee camp in the northeast of Nablus. They surrounded the three-story house of Mohammed Ahmed ‘Ajjouri, 62, whose son Ali is wanted by Israel.
They searched the house and then destroyed it. Israeli forces also arrested ‘Ajouri and his sons Ahmed, 35, and Kifah, 32. Israeli occupying forces raided the same house on 6 June 2002, searching for the wanted son. When they did not find him, they arrested his sister Intissar, 34, and placed her under administrative detention, to be the first Palestinian woman placed under administrative detention during this Intifada.
At the same time, Israeli occupying forces, reinforced with dozens of heavy military vehicles, moved into Til village, southwest of Nablus. They raided and searched the house of Mustafa Ahmed ‘Assida, 62, whose son Nasriddin is wanted by these forces. Then they destroyed the house and arrested ‘Assida and his sons: ‘Abdul Nasser, 34, Nasrallah, 31; Kazhem, 23; and ‘Aasem, 21.
Also at the same time, Israeli occupying forces raided the house of Samih Mohammed Jabri, 54, whose son Jabri is wanted by those forces, and arrested him and his other son Hazem, 23.

At approximately 12:00, Israeli occupying forces surrounded ‘Ein Qashla neighborhood in Hebron. They raided the house of Jamil Mustafa al-Qawasmi, 38, a member of the Palestinian General Intelligence, and arrested him.
Also at approximately 12:00, Israeli occupying forces moved into Bani Na’im Village, east of Hebron. While people were in mosques for the Friday prayers, Israeli forces fired dozens of sound bombs and tear canisters at these mosques.
As a result, 18 Palestinian civilians suffered from tear gas inhalation. Israeli occupying forces also fired at a number of cars, damaging two. In addition, an Israeli tank crushed a car owned by Isma’il ‘Aatallah ‘Abdullah.
At approximately 12:10, Israeli occupying forces raided and searched offices of the Islamic Charitable Society in Bani Na’im village. They beat its director and confiscated computers and diskettes.
At approximately 14:30, Israeli occupying forces in a military location known as “Aloni” at the seashore southwest of Deir al-Balah opened fire for no apparent reason at al-Birka area, wounding 7-year-old Ahmed Isma’il ‘Aashour with a live bullet in the right shoulder.
A PCHR field officer reported that the child was wounded while he was playing on the beach.
At approximately 18:00, while Hussein ‘Aabdul Rahman Hassan Sweidan, 55, a Palestinian farmer from ‘Azzun village east of Qalqilya, was farming his agricultural land adjacent to Nablus-Qalqilya road, an Israeli military jeep came arrived at the area, and Israeli nsoldiers fired at him from a close distance.
He was critically wounded by a live bullet in the forehead. He was evacuated to hospital where he was pronounced dead on Tuesday, 23 July

Also at approximately 12:00, Israeli occupying forces moved into Bani Na’im Village, east of Hebron. While people were in mosques for the Friday prayers, Israeli forces fired dozens of sound bombs and tear canisters at these mosques.
As a result, 18 Palestinian civilians suffered from tear gas inhalation. Israeli occupying forces also fired at a number of cars, damaging two. In addition, an Israeli tank crushed a car owned by Isma’il ‘Aatallah ‘Abdullah.
At approximately 12:10, Israeli occupying forces raided and searched offices of the Islamic Charitable Society in Bani Na’im village. They beat its director and confiscated computers and diskettes.
At approximately 14:30, Israeli occupying forces in a military location known as “Aloni” at the seashore southwest of Deir al-Balah opened fire for no apparent reason at al-Birka area, wounding 7-year-old Ahmed Isma’il ‘Aashour with a live bullet in the right shoulder.
A PCHR field officer reported that the child was wounded while he was playing on the beach.
At approximately 18:00, while Hussein ‘Aabdul Rahman Hassan Sweidan, 55, a Palestinian farmer from ‘Azzun village east of Qalqilya, was farming his agricultural land adjacent to Nablus-Qalqilya road, an Israeli military jeep came arrived at the area, and Israeli nsoldiers fired at him from a close distance.
He was critically wounded by a live bullet in the forehead. He was evacuated to hospital where he was pronounced dead on Tuesday, 23 July

Early in the morning, Israeli occupying forces, which had already seized control over Hebron, raided the house of Mohammed ‘Oleyan al-‘Eweiwi in al-Mahawer neighborhood in the center of the town. They seized the upper floor of the house and established a military post.
Also that morning, Israeli occupying forces, reinforced with heavy military vehicles, entered Burqin village in Jenin. They arrested three Palestinians.
In the Gaza Strip, at approximately 01:00, Israeli occupying forces, reinforced with heavy military vehicles and dogs, raided Palestinian houses and farms in the northern al-Mawasi area, under Israeli security control, west of Khan Yunis.
They searched the area and arrested Sami Tarraf Fayez al-Astal, 35, a farmer from Khan Yunis farming a tract of agricultural land owned by Salah al-Agha, resident of the area. According the residents of the area, al-Astal suffers from psychological disturbances.
At the same time, Israeli occupying forces, reinforced with heavy military vehicles, moved approximately 200m into al-Birka area to the southwest of Deir al-Balah. They demolished a 180-square-meter summer house owned by Jamal Salem al-Buheisi. They also bulldozed a 150-square-meter, iron-roofed bird farm owned by Kamal al-Buheisi.
At approximately 02:00, Israeli occupying forces, reinforced with heavy military vehicles, moved approximately 700m into Baten al-Samin area in the southwest of Khan Yunis. Israeli forces in military locations in the vicinity of “Neve Dekalim” and “Gadid” settlements also shelled the area. Israeli forces raided a number of houses of the families of al-Sha’er and Zo’rob. They arrested 8 Palestinians and took them to “Gadid” settlement, where they interrogated them before releasing them at approximately 18:00 on the same day.
According to the owner of one of the houses that were raided by Israeli occupying forces, members of the forces stole an amount of money from the house.
At the same time, a unit of Israeli occupying forces moved from “Morag” settlement, south of Khan Yunis, and stole approximately 100m into Gizan al-Najjar area. They raided and searched a number of houses of the family of al-Najjar and arrested two Palestinians.
A PCHR field officer reported that the two came from the UAE, where they work, only one month ago. They were released a few hours later.

They also detained the guards. The Israeli forces broke doors, destroyed contents of, and confiscated files, from the rooms of the student union. They also damaged doors of a number of classrooms.
At approximately 13:00, Israeli occupying forces positioned at the Egyptian border, south of Rafah, opened fire at Palestinian houses in al-Salam neighborhood adjacent to the border.

At approximately 17:00, an undercover unit of the so-called “Border Guard” of Israeli occupying forces, reinforced with heavy military vehicles, coming from “Homesh” settlement, northwest of Nablus, moved into Seilat al-Zhaher village. They surrounded a deserted house in the center of the village.
Then, Israeli occupying forces opened fire intensely at the house, wounding Bashar Bassem al-Hantuli, 18, who was on the roof, with a live bullet in the pelvis. When Hantul fell onto the ground, Israeli soldiers shot him dead with 4 live bullets in the head, the chest, the abdomen and the right knee.
Israeli occupying forces resumed firing at the house, wounding three other men:
1. ‘Aamer Isma’il Hantuli, 26;
2. Ghassan Rateb Sa’ad, 23; and
3. Samer ‘Aahed Abu Diak, 22.
Israeli occupying forces arrested the three and took them in a helicopter to an unknown destination. Then, Israeli occupying forces destroyed the house. At approximately 21:00, an Israeli F-16 fighter jet launched a missile at a 300-square-meter, iron-roofed turnery workshop owned by Mahmoud Rajab Isma’il, located at Salah al-Din Street near the entrance to al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. The workshop was completely destroyed. A
n adjacent marble factory, owned by Majed Joma’a al-Shaf’ei, was also severely damaged. In addition, a passing Palestinian civilians, Salah ‘Ali Abu Khaled, 40, was wounded by shrapnel in the right shoulder.
Two Palestinians Killed in an explosion of a Mysterious Object
On Wednesday evening, a child and a teenager were killed in al-Amari refugee camp in Ramallah, when a mysterious object exploded.
At approximately 22:00, Fadi Mu’awadh Mohammed al-‘Ejel, 18, from al-Amari refugee camp and some young men came to the refugee camp, holding a copper pipe, approximately 40cm long, whose spout was open. Young men in the area warned him that the pipe might be dangerous. He told them that he brought it from the yard of a school in al-Bireh to sell it. To prove that it was not dangerous, he moved approximately 70m away from them and hit it on a wall.
It exploded and he was immediately killed. A 7-year-old child, Ahmed ‘Abdul Jawad Sa’id Abu Radaha was seriously injured and he died at hospital. In addition, four Palestinians were injured, one of them, Hamdan al-Shahbari, was in serious condition.

At approximately 11:00, Israeli heavy military vehicles moved approximately 300m into Palestinian agricultural land west of a settler road linking between al-Maentar crossing and al-Shuhada junction, south of Gaza City. Until approximately 19:00 on the following day, Israeli occupying forces razed and destroyed areas of Palestinian agricultural land.
At approximately 13:10 Israeli occupying forces fired at a number of Palestinian civilians who were near their houses in al-Salam Street in Hebron.
Rebhi Sadiq Nairukh, 21, was seriously wounded by a live bullet in the left eye. Israeli occupying forces claimed that they fired at civilians because they violated the curfew imposed on the town.
At approximately 14:10, Israeli occupying forces in military locations in the vicinity of “Neve Dekalim” settlement, west of Khan Yunis, opened fire at Palestinian houses in al-Nimsawi neighborhood. No casualties were reported, but houses were further damaged.

Services provided by the company, including internet services, were cut for 24 hours. The company provides internet services for more than 75% of the internet users in Palestine. Israeli forces arrested and interrogated 5 employees. Four of them were released later, while the fifth remained in custody by Israeli forces.
At approximately 10:30, Israeli occupying soldiers on tanks and armored personnel carriers fired flaring sound bombs at a 5-story apartment building at Habla-Qalqilya road. Fire broke out into the first floor, which serves as a tricot workshop. Fire engines and ambulances moved towards the area, but Israeli forces obstructed their arrival on time.
The body of Mahmoud Samir Hilal, 22, was found burnt inside the workshop.
At approximately 11:00, Israeli occupying forces razed a 4-donum area of Palestinian agricultural land planted with vegetables owned by Suleiman Abu Halima, south of “Dogit” settlement in the north of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip. This tract of land is located near the buffer zone Israeli occupying forces are establishing south of the aforementioned settlement.

According to PCHR’s investigation, Khayal was going from his farm, approximately 800m west of the border, back home. When he was wounded, Israeli occupying forces moved into the area and arrested and interrogated him. He was released at approximately two hours later.

At approximately 11:00, Israeli occupying forces, reinforced with a tank and an armored military bulldozer, moved approximately 100m into Palestinian agricultural land south of “Kfar Darom” settlement, east of Deir al-Balah. They razed a 4-donum area of agricultural land planted with okras and uprooted four fruit trees owned by Jaber ‘Abdul Dayem Baraka.
In the morning, Israeli occupying forces lifted the curfew imposed on Nablus and its refugee camp from 08:00 to 17:00. At approximately 16:00, Israeli forces re-imposed the curfew on the area, an hour before the time they first decided. They opened fire at Palestinian houses and civilians.
A Palestinian civilian, Ghazi Jamal Abu ‘Ebaya, 24, from Balata refugee camp, was killed by a live bullet in the neck.
According to eyewitnesses, an Israeli military jeep tried to run over his body when he was shot. When another civilian tried to pull him away, the jeep tried to run him over as well. He sustained fractures and bruises.
An Assassination Attempt
In a continuation of the assassination policy officially adopted by the Israeli government against Palestinian activists and political leaders, an Israeli F-16 fighter jet attacked a house in al-Rabwat area in Khan Yunis, targeting four wanted Palestinians who were inside. No casualties were reported but the house was partly destroyed and a number of adjacent houses were severely damaged.
According to PCHR’s investigation, at approximately 13:25 on Sunday, an Israeli F-16 fighter jets and two helicopters flew over Khan Yunis. The fighter jet launched two missiles at an uninhibited house owned by ‘Aabdul Rahman Yousef ‘Aabdul Wahab. The first missile missed the target and fell onto a tract of agricultural land owned by Majdi ‘Abdul al-Hallaq, making a large pit.
As a result, the fence of the tract of the northern part of the ground floor of ‘Abdul Wahab’s house were destroyed. The second missile directly hit the facade, destroying parts of the second and ground floors. According to ‘Abdul Wahab, his son Yousef, 24, who is wanted by Israeli occupying forces, was in the house with four of his friends. They were all able to escape when the first missile hit the tract of agricultural land.
An Israeli military spokesman claimed that the attack targeted a factory, that makes mortars, in order to destroy it and kill ‘Aabdul Wahab.
Two houses were also severely damaged:
1. A 180-square-meter, 3-story house, in which 3 families comprising of 7 persons live, owned by heirs of Yousef ‘Abdul Wahab: the northern facade and two bedrooms were destroyed and windows were broken. A pregnant woman, Sabah Zuhair ‘Aabdul Wahab, 22, was shocked an injured while attempting to escape, and her child Yousef, 2, was lightly injured in the hands.
2. A 250-square-meter, 4-story house, in which 4 families comprising 24 persons live, owned by heirs of Isma’il Ahmed al-Dirbashi. Windows were broken and the roof of an adjacent furniture shop was destroyed.
In addition, 4 other houses were lightly damaged and 10 civilians were shocked

A pregnant woman, Sabah Zuhair ‘Aabdul Wahab, 22, was shocked an injured while attempting to escape, and her child Yousef, 2, was lightly injured in the hands.

At approximately 16:00, Israeli occupying forces at Habla military checkpoint, south of Qalqilya, fired at a number of Palestinian civilians who were walking on a branch road in Qalqilya valley, approximately 200m away, seriously wounding 35-year-old Jamal Yousef Daoud ‘Ouda with a live bullet in the heart. He was pronounced dead on the following day.
In the afternoon, 35-year-old Mahmoud Hassan Shousha, from Housan village in Bethlehem district, was pronounced dead in an Israeli hospital.
Shousha and Murad Hussein ‘Eissa, 21, from al-Khader village, were seriously wounded each by a live bullet in the head on Thursday, 3 July 2002, when Israeli occupying forces fired at them from a close distance while they were sitting in front of a shop owned by Shousha.

According to his brother who was accompanying him, Israeli occupying forces first fired two artillery shells at them for no apparent reason. They all escaped towards an agricultural pool. Then, Israeli forces fired a third artillery shell wounding Abu Salah.
In an apparent willful killing and explicit excessive use of force, at midnight, Israeli occupying forces shot dead two Palestinians in Deir al-Balah during an incursion into the town. According to PCHR’s investigation, at approximately midnight, Israeli occupying forces, reinforced with heavy military vehicles, moved approximately 3km into the southeast of Deir al-Balah.
They raided houses in Heker al-Jame’ area and arrested three Palestinians: Yasser Abu Sakher, 32; Jalal Abu Rikab, 38; and ‘Abdul Rahim ‘Abdul Qader Abu Houli, 30. Abu Saker and Abu Rikab were released two hours later, while Abu Houli remained in custody by Israeli occupying forces.
Then, Israeli forces mounted the roof of the house of Nazhmi Mahmoud Baraka and fired at every moving object.
A young Palestinian man, Mo’ein ‘Ali al-‘Odeini, 18, was seriously wounded by a live bullet in the head, while he was near his house, approximately 70m away from Baraka’s house.
He bled to death as ambulances were denied access to the area. Meanwhile, Israeli occupying forces opened fire for no apparent reason at five members of the Palestinian Naval Police who were patrolling in al-Berka area.
A policeman, Jamal al-Khatib, 22, was seriously wounded by a live bullet in the abdomen. He bled to death as no one was able to offer him help. The other four policemen and a civilian were also wounded:
1. Ahmed Mohammed Abu Jarad, 21, seriously wounded by a live bullet in the chest;
2. Dhiaa’ Hammuda Hamad, 23, wounded by a live bullet in the pelvis;
3. Muhannad ‘Aatef Abu Nasser, 22, wounded by a live bullet in the forehead;
4. Khaled Salama Khattab, 33, wounded by a live bullet in the left leg; and
5. Ayman Mohammed ‘Awad, 20, wounded by a live bullet in the left leg while he was inside his house.
A PCHR’s field officer in the area reported that Israeli tanks destroyed a 6-donum area of agricultural land planted with olives and a greenhouse owned by Salim and Farhan Mohammed Abu Salim in Heker al-Jame’ area.
They also destroyed three electricity pillars cutting electricity from the area for one day.
Attacks on Journalists
As part of their systematic policy of targeting local and foreign journalists and reporters working in the OPT, Israeli occupying forces opened fire at a number of Palestinian journalists in Jenin, who were filming an Israeli offensive on the West Bank town. At approximately 15:30 on Thursday, 11 July, two tanks and an armored personnel carrier of Israeli occupying forces moved into Jenin when the curfew imposed on the city was temporarily lifted. A group of Palestinian children threw stones at the Israeli military vehicles.
A number of Palestinian journalists were filming the Israeli incursion into the town. Soon, Israeli soldiers on a tank opened fire at the journalists, wounding two:
1. ‘Emad Subhi Abu Zahra, 30, director of al-Nakhil Office for Media and Press in Jenin, wounded by a heavy caliber bullet in the right thigh that cut an artery; and
2. Sa’id Shawqi al-Dahla, 27, a photographer of the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa), wounded by a live bullet in the left leg.
Abu Zahra underwent a 5-hour surgery at hospital. He was pronounced dead the following day

A 200-square-meter, asbestos-roofed house, owned by Khalil Mohammed Jaber Abu Shammala, was damaged by live bullets that hit the sitting room burning some furniture.
A number of other houses were also damaged.
At approximately 04:00, Israeli heavy military vehicles moved approximately 100m into Rafah refugee camp adjacent to the Egyptian border. They demolished two Palestinian houses partially.
Israeli occupying forces also raided the house of Hamad Hammad al-Sha’er, 50, and arrested him and his son Sa’id, 19. They also raided the house of ‘Aayesh Salam al-Sha’er and arrested his son Mohammed, 19.
At approximately 10:00, Israeli occupying forces, reinforced with four tanks and two armored military bulldozers, moved approximately 300m into Palestinian agricultural land west of a settler road between al-Mentar crossing and al-Shuhada’ junction, south of Gaza City. They razed areas of agricultural land.
At approximately 11:30, a number of Israeli military jeeps moved into ‘Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus. They ordered Palestinian civilians through loudspeakers to get back to their houses, claiming that the curfew imposed on the refugee camp was not lifted. A number of Palestinian boys and young men threw stones at the Israeli soldiers. The soldiers opened fire at the stone throwers, and Israeli tanks surrounding the refugee camp opened fire at houses.
A Palestinian civilian, Rami ‘Ouda Qatash, 19, was killed by a heavy caliber bullet in the chest.
At approximately 10:00 on Wednesday, Zuhair Tawfiq ‘Awad, 60, from Salfit Salfit, suffered from a heart attack. Immediately, his family took him to Salfit Hospital, where the doctors decided to move him to Rafidya Hospital in Nablus as he was in a serious condition.
At approximately 10:45, an ambulance took him towards Nablus. At approximately 11:00, the ambulance arrived at Hawara military checkpoint, south of Nablus, but Israeli occupying forces didn’t allow it to pass before 13:00. At approximately 13:10, the ambulance arrived at the hospital, but the patient was already dead.

The victim was identified as Mu’ammar Qassem Mohammed Daraghma, 28, from Tubas town in the northern Jordan Valley.

They destroyed a well, two rooms and an agricultural store owned by Shehada and Joma’a Ahmed ‘Awad. Then, Israeli armored military bulldozers leveled areas of Palestinian agricultural land that were razed two weeks earlier.
At the same time, an Israeli tank moved approximately 300m into the north of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip. The tank moved towards the house of Hassan ‘Aarafat ‘Abdul Dayem and destroyed his car. In the meantime, Israeli occupying forces in military locations in the vicinity of “Elli Sinai” settlement opened fire at the area damaging the same house.
In the morning, Israeli tanks and armored personnel carriers fired at Palestinian civilians who were trying to enter or leave Nablus when the curfew imposed on the city by Israeli forces was temporarily lifted.
A Palestinian civilian, Ibrahim Mustafa Qassem al-Mabruk, 32, from al’Ein refugee camp, was seriously wounded by a live bullet in the neck.
At approximately 14:30, a Palestinian child, Shukri Fa’eq al-Haji Daoud, 8, from Qalqilya, succumbed to a wound he sustained by Israeli occupying forces on Thursday, 27 June. Daoud was seriously wounded by a live bullet in the head when Israeli occupying forces, invading Qalqilya, opened fire at Palestinian houses in the center of the town. Two other children were also wounded.

Daoud was seriously wounded by a live bullet in the head when Israeli occupying forces, invading Qalqilya, opened fire at Palestinian houses in the center of the town. Two other children were also wounded.
