At approximately 01:00, Israeli occupying forces moved approximately 150m into Tabba 86 area in al-Qarara village, north of Khan Yunis. They raided the house of Salah Suleiman Abu Zhaher, destroying its doors and holding the 14-member family in one room. Many Israeli soldiers ascended atop of the house.
The asbestos roof of the house collapsed and some Israeli soldiers fell inside the house. In a violent reaction, Israeli soldiers severely beat two members of the family: Eyad, 23, and ‘Arafat, 17.
The former sustained serious bruises throughout the body and was moved to hospital. Israeli forces searched and damaged the house before they left it at approximately 04:00.
At the same time, Israeli occupying forces in military locations in the vicinity of “Neve Dekalim” settlement, west of Khan Yunis, opened fire at Palestinian houses in Block I in Khan Yunis refugee camp.
A Palestinian civilian, Adham ‘Ali Ahmed Huniedeq, 23, was wounded by a live bullet in the right shoulder, while he was moving from his house, approximately 150m away from the source of fire. In addition, some houses in the area sustained further damage.
Also at the same time, Israeli occupying forces moved approximately 900m into Abasan village, east of Khan Yunis. Israeli bulldozers leveled areas of agricultural land that were razed month and razed new areas:
1. They razed an 8-donum area of agricultural land planted with wheat and olives and destroyed an irrigation network owned by Hafezh ‘Abdullah Qudeih.
2. They razed a 5-donum area of agricultural land planted with figs and watermelons and destroyed an irrigation network owned Ramzi Mohammed al-Bureim.
3. They razed a 4-donum area of agricultural land planted with wheat and destroyed an irrigation network owned by Mahmoud Shehda Qudeih.
At approximately 02:00, Israeli heavy military vehicles, accompanied by police dogs, moved approximately 300m into Uraiba area in the northwest of Rafah. They raided a 4-story house, in which 20 persons live, owned by Khader Mohammed Mahmoud Dahliz, 52. They searched the houses and damaged furniture.
Some Israeli soldiers fired at walls of the house from the outside, terrifying its residents. Then, Israeli forces arrested the house’s owner and his five sons: Nizar, 26; Bashir, 30; Mohammed, 24; Nadi, 21; and Naji, 18.
According to the housewife, after Israeli forces had withdrawn from the area, she discovered that they stole two mobile phones, 1500 JD, and a golden necklace from the house.
At approximately 03:00, 30 heavy military vehicles accompanied by infantry units and supported by two combat helicopters invaded Tubas town in the northern Jordan Valley. They shelled the town, wounding three Palestinian civilians:
1. Mahmoud Mohammed Harb Daraghma, 40, a taxi driver, seriously wounded by 4 live bullets in the chest;
2. Jamal Jamil Kamel Mahasna, 39, wounded by 4 live bullets in the abdomen, the left elbows and the thighs; and
3. Mohammed Fa’eq ‘Anbusi, 23, wounded by 2 live bullets in the left thigh.
Israeli forces also interrogated 4 Palestinians, and arrested 10 others.
In the morning, Israeli occupying forces invaded ‘Anabta village, east of Tulkarm. They seized complete control over the village and imposed a curfew. Then, they forced Palestinian civilians of their houses and gathered them in a public yard. Upon their withdrawal from the village at approximately 07:00, Israeli forces arrested ‘Alla’ ‘Ammar Barakat, 18.
At almost the same time, Israeli occupying forces moved into Kufor al-Labad village near Tulkarm. They raided the house of Na’im Kayed and arrested four of his sons: ‘Abdul Hadi, 17; ‘Abdul Fattah, 21; Rebhi, 23; and Rabah, 30. Israeli forces took the four to a military location and interrogated them. The four were released 12 hours later.
At approximately 17:00, Israeli occupying forces, accompanied by a military armored bulldozer moved approximately 500m into Tallat Hamada area, north of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip. They bulldozed three greenhouses planted with vegetables owned by ‘Omar Ibrahim Hamada. Israeli forces also raided and searched a house owned by Sa’id al-Da’our.
At approximately 18:00, Israeli occupying forces in military locations in the vicinity of “Neve Dekalim” settlement, west of Khan Yunis, shelled Khan Yunis refugee camp. The shelling continued sporadically for 3 hours, during which 7 Palestinian civilians were wounded:
1. Mohammed ‘Ali Abu Shammala, 3, wounded by shrapnel in the left foot;
2. Hamdi Fathi al-Salibi, 12, wounded by shrapnel in the face;
3. Khaled Mohammed Sarhan, 15, wounded by shrapnel in the left hand;
4. Ibrahim Yousef Huneideq, 15, wounded by shrapnel in the chest and the abdomen;
5. Munir Suleiman Abu Rezeq, 28, wounded by shrapnel in the left leg;
6. Majed Khalil al-Zein, 40, wounded by shrapnel in the left shoulder; and
7. Nayef Mohammed ‘Abdullah al-Zarabi, 47, wounded by shrapnel in the abdomen.
In addition, a number of houses were severely damaged.
At the same time, Israeli occupying forces in the vicinity of “Morag” settlement, south of Khan Yunis, shelled Palestinian houses in Gizan al-Najjar area. Three houses were damaged, but no casualties were reported.
At approximately 06:00, while Zuhair Khader al-Rujbi, 32, from Silwan village in occupied Jerusalem, was on his way back home from a his work at a bakery, he was surprised by a number of Israeli intelligence officers and a special unit standing near his house. As soon as he entered the house, they tried to open its door using a heavy hammer.
When the door was opened, the father Kahder ‘Abdul Fattah al-Rujbi, 54, and his son Hazem went to check what was going on. Israeli soldiers fired at Hazem, wounding him with two live bullets in the chest.

In the morning, medical sources at al-Hussein Hospital in Beit Jala declared that Ibrahim Mustafa ‘Ateya Abu Fara, 52, from Surif village in Hebron district, succumbed to a wound he sustained last year.
Abu Fara was critically wounded by a live bullet in the neck when Israeli occupying forces, for no apparent reason, opened fire at a number of Palestinian taxi drivers who stopped their cars in the vicinity of Bilal Mosque in the north of Bethlehem, waiting for passengers coming from Jerusalem. When the presence of Israeli soldiers in the area was noticed, a number of Palestinian resistance men came and besieged them in alleys. Israeli soldiers attempted to have shelter in two houses, but residents of the houses did not open doors for them.
To cover their withdrawal from the area, Israeli forces in the vicinity of “Neve Dekalim” settlement intensely shelled the area until 05:00. Three Palestinian civilians were wounded:
1. Yousef Ahmed ‘Abdul Rahman al-Ghamri, 74, wounded by shrapnel in the head and the right hand;
2. Mustafa Suleiman Sa’id Wadi, 21, seriously wounded by shrapnel and live bullets in the head, the neck and the limbs; and
3. Thabet ‘Abed Rabbu Ahmed Ahmed, 37, wounded by shrapnel in the neck.

Also in the morning, medical sources in Cairo declared that ‘Ali Hulail ‘Ali Abu Sitta, 17, from Khan Yunis, succumbed to a wound he sustained by Israeli occupying forces earlier this month.
Abu Sitta was critically wounded by a live bullet in the head on Sunday, 2 June, when Israeli soldiers in a tower stabled on a moveable lever in the vicinity of “Neve Dekalim” setlement, west of Khan Yunis, fired at him while he was near a mosque, approximately 700m away.
At approximately 18:00, two Israeli tanks moved approximately 200m into Palestinian areas, north of “Netzarim” settlement, south of Gaza City. One tank took position in Tal al-‘Ejoul area and the other took position near al-Zahra’ town. Soon, the tanks opened fire at Palestinian houses in al-Mughraqa area.
A Palestinian child, Hussein ‘Eid Hassan al-Matwi, 8, was killed with a live bullet in the heart while he was playing near his family’s house.

At approximately 16:00 on Monday, the family of Naji Mohammed Khalilia received a phone call from the Israeli hospital, informing them that their son succumbed to his wound. The victim’s son, Majdi, 14, was shot dead by Israeli occupying forces on 24 April 2002.
In the morning, medical sources at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis declared that ‘Awni Shukri Jouda, 29, from Rafah refugee camp, succumbed to a wound he sustained by Israeli occupying forces last month.
According to PCHR’s documentation, Jouda was wounded by a live bullet in the abdomen, together with 14 other civilians, on 30 May, when Israeli occupying forces positioned at the Egyptian border opened fire at Block O in Rafah refugee camp. He had been in the intensive care unit since he was wounded.
At approximately 23:10, Israeli occupying forces in military locations in the vicinity of “Gani Tal” settlement, northwest of Khan Yunis, shelled Palestinian houses in al-‘Araishia and al-Rabwat areas.
A Palestinian civilian, Hussam Musleh Isma’il Abu Ghali, 24, was wounded by a live bullet in the left thigh, while he was near his house, approximately 200m south of the settlement. In addition, three houses were damaged.
At approximately 18:40, Israeli occupying forces fired at a civilian car, in which three Palestinian civilians from Taybeh village in Jenin district were traveling.
One of these civilians, Shaher Suleiman Mahmoud Mahamid, 23, was wounded by a live bullet in the left shoulder.

At approximately 16:00, 20 Israeli heavy military vehicles invaded Tulkarm. They opened fire at houses.
A Palestinian civilian, Tariq Mohammed Abu Laimoun, 15, was seriously wounded by a live bullet in the neck
In an apparent willful killing, Israeli occupying force shot dead a Palestinian civilian from Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip.
According to PCHR’s investigation, and an eyewitness’ testimony, at approximately 16:30, Sami Ahmed ‘Abed Rabbu Musleh, 27, from Beit Hanoun, stopped his car approximately 200m south of “Erez” industrial zone near Beit Hanoun Terminal in the northern Gaza Strip, waiting for laborers to take them home in his car.
When Musleh moved 100m north, Israeli occupying forces near the industrial zone fired at him. He was critically wounded by a live bullet in the head. He was immediately evacuated to al-‘Awda Hospital in Jabalya, but since he was in critical condition, he was soon moved to Shifa’ Hospital in Gaza. All efforts made by physicians to save his life failed.
On Sunday evening, a Palestinian civilian, Yousef Mohammed ‘Abdul Rahman Abu Tabikh, 78, from Jenin, died after Israeli occupying forces at al-Hamra military checkpoint in the northern Jordan Valley denied him passage while he was back from Jordan after having received medical treatment that lasted for around 70 days.
He was suffering from a malignant tumor in the throat. Israeli forces stopped him at the checkpoint for more than 5 hours in a very hot weather. His health condition deteriorated and he then died at the checkpoint.
The victim’s daughter who accompanied him in his trip to Jordan said:
“At approximately 13:00 on Sunday, 9 June 2002, I arrived at al-Hamra military checkpoint in the northern Jordan Valley, coming back from Jordan to Jenin. I was accompanying my father who received medical treatment in a Jordanian hospital for a malignant tumor in the throat. Israeli soldiers stopped us. I got out of the car carrying medical reports.
I implored Israeli soldiers to allow me and my father to cross the checkpoint on foot, but they refused. I continued to implore them until 16:00, but in vain. Half an hour later, I noticed that the health condition of my father was deteriorating. I implored Israeli soldiers again to allow our passage, but they refused.
At approximately 18:30, an Israeli military jeep came close to the car in which we were traveling. Israeli soldiers in the jeep ordered our driver to follow them, but it was too late as my father died.”

At approximately 04:00, 20 Israeli heavy military vehicles, supported by a helicopter, moved into Halhul village, north of Hebron. They seized complete control over the village. Then, they raided houses searching for Palestinian resistance men. They also called on males between 15-50 of age, to gather in public yards.
They detained and interrogated around 700 Palestinian civilians for some time. Upon their withdrawal from the village, Israeli forces broke into centers of the Palestinian National Security Force and Presidential Guard (Force 17). They damaged their contents and stole some files. Israeli tanks also damaged electricity and water networks of the village.
At approximately 17:00, Israeli occupying forces positioned at the Egyptian border, south of Rafah, opened fired at Palestinian houses in Zo’rob neighborhood in the west of the town. Three Palestinian civilians were wounded:
1. ‘Azza Khaled Ghaben, 6, wounded by shrapnel in the head;

At approximately 21:00, Israeli occupying forces in military locations in the vicinity of “Gani Tal” settlement, northwest of Khan Yunis, shelled al-Rabwat area. No casualties were reported, but Palestinian civilians were terrified.
At approximately 22:00, Israeli occupying forces in military locations in the vicinity of ‘Neve Dekalim’ settlement, west of Khan Yunis, opened fire at al-Nimsawi neighborhood, southwest of the town. Apartment buildings of al-Farra Company sustained further damage. An electricity generator and a slaughterhouse of Khan Yunis Municipality were severely damaged.
At the same time, Israeli occupying forces in military locations in the vicinity of “Gan Aur” and “Bdulah” settlements, southwest of Khan Yunis, fired live ammunition and flare bombs at Abu Rashwan area in the southwest of Khan Yunis.

Also during the incursion into the area, Israeli forces intercepted an ambulance of Palestine Red Crescent Society. They checked it and its medical personnel and arrested three of the wounded taking them to “Gan Aur” settlement. The three were released after a 4-hour interrogation. In addition, 8 houses were severely damaged.
At approximately 03:00, Israeli occupying forces in a military location near Rafah Terminal with Egypt, south of Rafah, fired at a Palestinian taxi, in which some passengers were traveling towards the terminal to travel to Saudi Arabia. Live bullets hit the car’s body. The driver tried to move his car away from the source of fire. However, Israeli forces continued to fire at the car.
A passenger, Mohammed Jihad ‘Abdul Fattah Abu ‘Omar, 19, was wounded by shrapnel throughout the body.
At approximately 18:00, Israeli occupying forces at the eastern border of the Gaza Strip, east of Gaza City, fired at Palestinian civilians who participated in the funeral procession of Sa’id Mohammed al-Tatar, who was killed in the morning by Israeli forces near “Dogit” settlement in the northern Gaza Strip. Mu’ayad Rafiq Musabbeh, 17, was wounded by a live bullet in the left thigh.
A Jewish Settler Burns the Body of a Palestinian man
In a new crime committed by Jewish settlers against Palestinians in the OPT, at Saturday night, a settler from “Yitshar” settlement, south of Nablus, burnt the body of a Palestinian, Ahmed Yasser Ahmed Saleh, 18, from ‘Assira village, south of Nablus, who was killed by Israeli occupying forces.
Saleh attempted to enter “Yitshar” settlement and fired at Israeli occupying soldiers who were guarding the settlement. Israeli soldiers immediately shot him dead. Then, Israeli soldiers took his body to another place waiting for an ambulance to pick up his body.
Soon, a Jewish settler came and poured fuel on the body and set fire before the eyes of Israeli soldiers. The Israeli daily Yediot Aharanot asserted the incident and said that a settler living in “Yitshar” settlement near Nablus in the northern West Bank set fire to the body of the Palestinian young man.
It added that “the settler found an ‘original’ way to express his anger and burnt the body of the Palestinian who carried out the operation.”
At approximately 04:00, 20 Israeli heavy military vehicles, supported by a helicopter, moved into Halhul village, north of Hebron. They seized complete control over the village. Then, they raided houses searching for Palestinian resistance men. They also called on males between 15-50 of age, to gather in public yards.
They detained and interrogated around 700 Palestinian civilians for some time. Upon their withdrawal from the village, Israeli forces broke into centers of the Palestinian National Security Force and Presidential Guard (Force 17). They damaged their contents and stole some files. Israeli tanks also damaged electricity and water networks of the village.
At approximately 17:00, Israeli occupying forces positioned at the Egyptian border, south of Rafah, opened fired at Palestinian houses in Zo’rob neighborhood in the west of the town. Three Palestinian civilians were wounded:
1. ‘Azza Khaled Ghaben, 6, wounded by shrapnel in the head;
2. Naji Hamed Ghaben, 25, wounded by shrapnel in the right arm; and
3. Sa’id Saleh Ghaben, 30, wounded by shrapnel in the right arm.

Early in the morning, medical sources at Rafidya Hospital in Nablus declared that Ziad Ref’at ‘Ali Yamin, 43, from Qalqilya, succumbed to a wound he sustained on 26 May when Israeli occupying forces invaded the West Bank town. Yamin was wounded by several live bullets fired by Israeli soldiers while he was near his house.
At approximately 04:00, Israeli occupying forces, reinforced with dozens of tanks and armored personnel carriers, moved into the villages of Qabatya, Burqin and Seilat al-Harthia in Jenin District.
They opened fire indiscriminately, wounding Mohammed Mohammed Isma’il Abu Shaqfa, 32, a member of the Palestinian National Security Force, with a heavy caliber bullet in the right hand. Israeli forces raided and searched houses in the three villages.
At approximately 07:00, Israeli occupying forces moved into Taybeh and ‘Aanin in Jenin District. They imposed a curfew and called on residents of the two villages through loudspeakers to gather in two schools. Israeli forces humiliated them, but no arrests were reported.
At approximately 16:00, Israeli occupying forces, supported by tanks and two helicopters and covered by intense shelling, moved into Jaba’ village, south of Jenin. Two Palestinians were wounded and then arrested:

They moved into al-Ersal Street and surrounded the compound of the Palestinian president and adjacent buildings. At approximately 01:50, Israeli occupying forces started shelling the presidential compound, the headquarters of the Palestinian General Intelligence and offices of the National Security Force. They fired more than 100 shells at these buildings.
An officer of the Palestinian Presidential Guard (Force 17), Tariq Sa’id Khandaqji, 23, was killed by a heavy caliber bullet in the head.
Israeli forces denied him access to medical care when he was wounded at approximately 02:30. He succumbed to his wound an hour later. In addition, 8 officers and members of Force 17 were wounded:
1. Amjad Ahmed Zakarna, 25, from Qabatya village in Jenin, wounded by shrapnel in the head;

At approximately 15:30 on the same day, Israeli occupying forces, for no apparent reason, fired at a car of Reuters news agency, in which Hassan ‘Abdul Halim al-Titi, a cameraman, and the correspondent of al-Mahabba Radio were traveling on their way from ‘Askar refugee camp to Nablus.
Windows of the car were broken.

At approximately 07:30, Israeli occupying forces at Surda military checkpoint, north of Ramallah, fired at Palestinian civilians crossing the checkpoint. Two civilians were wounded:
1. Riad Fakhri Khalifa, 30, from Deir Ebzi’ village, wounded by a rubber-coated metal bullet in the neck; and
2. Eyad Fakhri Yaghi, 27, from Deir Ebzi’ village, wounded by a rubber-coated metal bullet in the neck.
At approximately 19:30, Israeli occupying forces on a road leading to “Beit Eil” settlement, north of al-Bireh, fired at Palestinian civilians in Jawwal area.
A civilian, Khaled Mohammed Mas’oud al-‘Omar, 27, from al-Jalazoun refugee camp east of Ramallah, was wounded by a live bullet that entered the back and exited the abdomen.
At approximately 01:00, Israeli occupying forces invaded Qalqilya and imposed a curfew on the town. Then, they raided the house of Bilal Hannun, head of the Qalqilya Almsgiving Committee (a charitable society that provides assistance for the poor). They took him to offices of the committee. They broke doors, searched the offices and confiscated 50 files from the accountancy department and some records.
At the same time, Israeli forces raided and searched the Islamic Club. Later, Israeli forces blocked the road leading to Nazzal Hospital, and for no apparent reason opened fire at the hospital damaging its facades.
At approximately 06:00, Israeli heavy military vehicles, coming from the eastern border of the Gaza Strip and covered by intense shelling, moved approximately 1200m into al-Sumeiri area in the east of al-Qarara village, north of Khan Yunis. They withdrew from the area around an hour later. However, they moved back to the area at approximately 11:00 and started razing more than 50 donums of Palestinian agricultural land.
At approximately 23:00, Israeli heavy military vehicles covered by intense shelling moved approximately 100m into Zo’rob neighborhood in the southwest of Rafah, adjacent to the Egyptian border. This incursion continued until 07:00 on the following day, during which Israeli forces demolished one Palestinian house completely and six houses partially.
They also raided a number of houses and arrested four Palestinian civilians. Upon their withdrawal from the area, Israeli forces opened fire indiscriminately.
A Palestinian civilian, Yasser Hussein ‘Abdul ‘Azziz Zo’rob, 21, was seriously wounded by two live bullets in the abdomen and the left thigh.
PCHR’s field worker in Rafah reported that Israeli forces raided and searched the house of ‘Abdul Hadi ‘Aashur ‘Abdul Hadi Dhuheir. They held residents of the house on the first floor. Before they left the house, they arrested the owner and his two sons, Yahia, 20, and ‘Ali, 16. The father was released alone at approximately 07:00 on Tuesday, 4 June.
Update
In the morning, medical sources at al-Maqassed Hospital in occupied East Jerusalem declared that Nizham Mohammed Saber Abu Hamdia, 19, from Hebron, succumbed he sustained by Israeli occupying forces on Monday night, 3 June.
Hamdia was wounded when Israeli occupying forces in al-Shuhada’ Street in Hebron stopped him while on his way home. They severely beat him. He was moved to the hospital suffering from internal hemorrhage in the chest and the abdomen. Since then, he had been in the intensive care unit where he succumbed to his wound.
At approximately 07:30, Israeli occupying forces at Surda military checkpoint, north of Ramallah, fired at Palestinian civilians crossing the checkpoint. Two civilians were wounded:

They broke doors, searched the offices and confiscated 50 files from the accountancy department and some records.
At the same time, Israeli forces raided and searched the Islamic Club. Later, Israeli forces blocked the road leading to Nazzal Hospital, and for no apparent reason opened fire at the hospital damaging its facades.
At approximately 06:00, Israeli heavy military vehicles, coming from the eastern border of the Gaza Strip and covered by intense shelling, moved approximately 1200m into al-Sumeiri area in the east of al-Qarara village, north of Khan Yunis. They withdrew from the area around an hour later. However, they moved back to the area at approximately 11:00 and started razing more than 50 donums of Palestinian agricultural land.
At approximately 23:00, Israeli heavy military vehicles covered by intense shelling moved approximately 100m into Zo’rob neighborhood in the southwest of Rafah, adjacent to the Egyptian border. This incursion continued until 07:00 on the following day, during which Israeli forces demolished one Palestinian house completely and six houses partially.
They also raided a number of houses and arrested four Palestinian civilians. Upon their withdrawal from the area, Israeli forces opened fire indiscriminately.
A Palestinian civilian, Yasser Hussein ‘Abdul ‘Azziz Zo’rob, 21, was seriously wounded by two live bullets in the abdomen and the left thigh.
PCHR’s field worker in Rafah reported that Israeli forces raided and searched the house of ‘Abdul Hadi ‘Aashur ‘Abdul Hadi Dhuheir. They held residents of the house on the first floor. Before they left the house, they arrested the owner and his two sons, Yahia, 20, and ‘Ali, 16. The father was released alone at approximately 07:00 on Tuesday, 4 June.
Update
In the morning, medical sources at al-Maqassed Hospital in occupied East Jerusalem declared that Nizham Mohammed Saber Abu Hamdia, 19, from Hebron, succumbed he sustained by Israeli occupying forces on Monday night, 3 June.
Hamdia was wounded when Israeli occupying forces in al-Shuhada’ Street in Hebron stopped him while on his way home. They severely beat him. He was moved to the hospital suffering from internal hemorrhage in the chest and the abdomen. Since then, he had been in the intensive care unit where he succumbed to his wound.

In the morning, Israeli occupying forces, accompanied by two bulldozers, coming from the eastern border of the Gaza Strip, moved approximately 400m into the east of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip. They razed a 4-donum area of agricultural land planted with citrus owned by Mahmoud Abu Nafe’. They also leveled agricultural areas already razed.
At approximately 09:00, Israeli occupying forces in military locations in the vicinity of “Neve Dekalim” settlement, west of Khan Yunis, shelled al-Nimsawi neighborhood in the southwest of the town. A number of flats in al-Farra apartment buildings were severely damaged, but no casualties were reported.
At approximately 20:45, Israeli occupying forces on a tower stabled on a moveable lever in the vicinity of “Neve Dekalim” settlement, west of Khan Yunis, opened fire at Palestinian residential areas east of the settlement.
A Palestinian civilian, ‘Ali Hulail ‘Ali Abu Sitta, 17, was seriously wounded by a live bullet in the head, while he was near a mosque, approximately 700m east of the settlement.
At approximately 07:00, Israeli occupying soldiers in a military jeep opened fire at Seilat al-Zhaher secondary school south of Jenin.
A student, Muhannad ‘Abdul ‘Azziz Za’rur, 15, was wounded by a live bullet in the right foot.
The Israeli military jeep was accompanying a convoy of settler cars on the main road in the village and fired at the school for no apparent reason.
At approximately 13:30, Israeli occupying forces in a military location at al-Shuhada’ junction, south of Gaza, fired at 15-year-old Nabil ‘Abdul Rahim Abu Samra, from al-Mughraqa area, wounding him with a live bullet in the left thigh.

Israeli Offensive on Nablus
On Sunday morning, 2 June, Israeli occupying forces destroyed the house of Jihad al-Titi, who carried out a military attack about two weeks ago, and whose brother Mahmoud was assassinated by Israeli forces last month.
Israeli forces arrested more than 1600 Palestinians of various ages after gathering them in streets and schools. Later, hundreds were released, while more than 500 remained in custody. Israeli forces also arrested more than 15 students of an-Najah National University, including:
1. Nahid Ahmed al-Khatib, 25, from Deir Estia village;
2. ‘Obeida Abu ‘Eisha, 22, from Beit Wazan village;
3. Nour Abu Hajla, 20, from Deir Estia village;
4. Dima Sawafta, 21, from Tubas village; and
5. Anhar Mohammed, from Jericho.

In the morning, Israeli occupying forces at Qalandya military checkpoint, north of occupied Jerusalem, opened fire at Palestinian civilians, including school children, walking on alternative branch roads. Four civilians, including two children, were wounded:
1. Hiba Kazhem Mujahed, 15, from Ramallah, wounded by a rubber-coated metal bullet in the right shoulder;
2. Alaa’ Mohammed Abu ‘Afifa, 15, from Ramallah, wounded by a rubber-coated metal bullet in the left eye;
3. Bassam Jouda Mohammed, 45, from Um Safa village, wounded by a rubber-coated metal bullet in the left leg; and
4. Raja’ei Fakhri Abu Halawa, 23, from Beit Hanina, wounded by a rubber-coated metal bullet in the head.
Also in the morning, Israeli occupying forces at Surda military checkpoint, north of Ramallah, fired at Palestinian civilians crossing the checkpoint.
A civilian, Bashir Ahmed Bayatna, 30, from Abu Qash village, north of Ramallah, was wounded by a live bullet in the right ankle.
At approximately 04:00, 30 Israeli tanks and armored personnel carriers, supported by two helicopters, invaded Tammun village in the northern Jordan Valley. They seized complete control over the village and imposed a curfew. They also arrested four Palestinians, and shelled houses, wounding two Palestinian boys:
1. Khalil D’iab Mohammed Bisharat, 17, wounded by shrapnel throughout the body; and
2. Mohammed Mu’taz Saleh Rashid, 16, wounded by shrapnel in the right hand.
At approximately 07:00, Israeli occupying forces positioned east of Tulkarm opened fire at the streets and houses in the eastern part of Tulkarm.
A Palestinian civilian, Mustafa Mahmoud al-‘Aas, 19, was wounded by a live bullet in the right thigh and shrapnel in the left foot. Israeli forces denied the access of medical personnel to the area and expelled them from the area. Then, they arrested al-‘Aas.
At approximately 09:00, Israeli occupying forces moved into al-Far’a refugee camp in the northern Jordan Valley.
They opened fire at Palestinian houses, wounding Fadi ‘Omar Mansur, 21, with a live bullet in the right foot. Upon their withdrawal, Israeli forces arrested Ra’ed Samih Abu Khaizaran, 28, from Tubas, while working on his farm adjacent to the refugee camp.
At approximately 10:00, an armored personnel carrier and a number of military jeeps of Israeli occupying forces moved into al-Jawwal area in the north of Ramallah.
Israeli soldiers opened fire at Palestinian civilians in the area, wounding Kawthar Shukri Hussein Yassin, 36, from Kubar village in Ramallah, with a live bullet in his shoulder.
At approximately 16:00, Israeli occupying forces on tanks and armored personnel carriers moved into the south and east of Tulkarm.
They opened fire at Palestinian civilians and their houses, wounding Ahmed Ibrahim Budeir, 26, from Far’oun village in Tulkarm, with a live bullet in the right forearm while he was at work.
At approximately 22:00, Israeli occupying forces in a military location south of Erez industrial zone, northwest of Beit Hanoun, fired five artillery shells at Palestinian agricultural land in the area.
The electricity network of the northern Gaza Strip was severely damaged, but no casualties were reported.
