During the battle, Ala' Al Fakhouri and his colleague Waleed Abd were killed, with a number of others injured left in a place for 24 hours bleeding to death. Afterwards, a "Captain Tamer" striped off their clothes, and opened fire at the bodies, as witnessed by a family living in the area of the battle. "Captain Tamer" then kidnapped the two bodies and refused to recover them to their families. In addition, Ala' Al Fakhouri's father and brother were arrested, and their house demolished. |

Coincidentally, it was the very same place, where the killing of a child named Ayman Barham also occurred.
