The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed 2,400 Palestinian homes in the southern West Bank province of al-Khalil in ten day’s time, Israeli sources reported Sunday.
According to the Israeli Walla news site the IOF broke into over 2,400 Palestinian civilian homes in al-Khalil following an anti-occupation attack in the Atna’el settlement some 10 days ago.
The same source claimed the break-ins were carried out to obtain information on the perpetrators of the anti-occupation attack. A tight security blockade imposed on al-Khalil city culminated in the closure of over 250 passageways leading to Road 60.
A series of meetings was held in the occupied West Bank between senior Israeli officers and Palestinian Authority (PA) security officials as part of ongoing coordination to chase down anti-occupation fighters and activists.
Israeli officers ordered PA officials to collect arms and step up abductions of anti-occupation protesters, threatening to increase military operations in the occupied West Bank.
The campaign comes in light of the surge in anti-occupation attacks carried out by Palestinian youths since October 1 in response to Israeli simmering terrorism across the occupied Palestinian territories.

Last week, six anti-occupation attacks were carried out by Palestinian protesters, including a car-ramming attack, a shooting, and three stabbing attacks.
Dozens of Palestinians sustained bullet and teargas injuries over the past few days following clashes with the IOF in over 70 occasions.

Minister of Jerusalem Ze'ev Elkin
PM and defense minister approved the construction of 800 housing units in Jewish East Jerusalem neighborhoods and Ma'ale Adumim; in addition, 600 housing units were approved for Arab neighborhood Beit Safafa.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Minister of Defense Avigdor Lieberman approved on Sunday the construction of a total of 800 housing units in Ma'ale Adumim and the East Jerusalem Jewish neighborhoods of Ramot, Har Homa, and Pisgat Ze'ev.
The announcement is apparently a response to the recent increase in terrorist attacks last week. "The actions right now are too little and too late and won't stop viral terrorism," Minister of Education Naftali Bennett's associates said Sunday, shortly before the Security Cabinet convened for a meeting, "This is a recycling of old decisions from a year and a half ago."
"Those who want to make sure there's a Jewish majority in Jerusalem cannot promote construction there for the Arab population only," Minister of Jerusalem Ze'ev Elkin said to Ynet. "The 600 housing units in Beit Safafa are actually in the Arab part of the future Givat Hamatos neighborhood.
You can't approve construction in Givat Hamatos for the Arab population without simultaneously promoting construction for Jews in that same future neighborhood, Givat Hamatos."
"I call on the prime minister to approve in addition the construction in the Givat Hamatos neighborhood for Jews. Jerusalem needs this neighborhood and over 2,000 housing units urgently. The Givat Hamatos neighborhood is of strategic importance to the development of Jerusalem, much like the neighborhood of Har Homa was in its time.
Just like in his first term as prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu made history in establishing the Har Homa neighborhood, I call on him to make history once more in this term and act immediately to promote the Givat Hamatos neighborhood."
When asked if PM Netanyahu answered his concerns regarding the construction, Minister Elkin said, "No. I suppose the answer is set in the willingness to balance and in the construction that was promoted. This is in the planning stages, true, but to my eyes it's very far from creating balance.
(We) need to build in Ma'ale Adumim regardless of the issue of balance in Jerusalem, and in Jerusalem there is a shortage of thousands of housing units for the Jewish sector if we want to stop the emigration from the city and stop the erosion of the Jewish majority in the capital."

“I saw a car that crashed and flipped over; I instantly stopped my car and rushed towards it to provide aid to the wounded. I didn’t care that my life, and the lives of my family members who were with me, could be at risk. I am a doctor and my first priority is providing needed aid,” Dr. Ali Shroukh from the ath-Thaheriyya town, near Hebron said.
The doctor was talking about the shooting attack that took place near the Samoa’ town, south of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, that led to the death of one Israeli colonist settler, while his wife and two children were injured.
The doctor said he had no idea about what had happened, and that all he knew was that there were people who needed help when he saw the crashed Israeli car.
The Israeli family members were still in the vehicle, and he rushed towards them to provide whatever help he could, after introducing himself to them as a doctor. An Israeli police car was also there, and he had to let the officers know he was a doctor.
Shroukh first saw an Israeli woman, wounded and screaming, and instantly helped her out of the crashed car. He then helped her family, but her husband, later identified as Michael Mark, 48, was already dead.
His wife, Chava, was critically wounded, and two of their children, Pedaya, 15, and Tehilla, 14, suffered moderate and light wounds. The family was from Otniel colony, built on Palestinian lands, south of Hebron.
The Palestinian doctor told the Maan News Agency that a Red Crescent Ambulance was the first to arrive at the scene, and provided first aid to one of the wounded teens, after placing her on a stretcher.
An Israeli ambulance arrived approximately 10 minutes later, along with several police and military vehicles.
“I asked the soldiers for some bandages and help because I wanted to stop the bleeding of the young girl,” he added, “But the soldiers didn’t want to cooperate with me, because they wanted to wait for the Israeli ambulance.”
“And then an Israeli ambulance arrived – I saw a doctor helping in the rescue; she was the first to help, along with her team,” Dr. Shroukh said.
Dr. Shroukh also stated that all what he wanted to do was to perform his humanitarian duty, to provide medical attention to those who need it.
“It wasn’t me who called for an ambulance, whether Red Crescent or the Israeli Magen David Adom, I just rushed to help – it does not matter what nationality, color or anything else,” he added, “Nobody even thanked me for my help, but I performed my duty, and that is all that matters.”
