The Israeli Air Force fired, on Wednesday at dawn, several missiles targeting different areas in the besieged Gaza Strip, causing significant property damage.
Media sources in Gaza said the army fired one missiles into a site, southwest of Gaza city, causing serious property damage, while many families suffered anxiety attacks.
The air force fired another missile targeting an area, east of Gaza city, also causing significant damage, but no injuries.
In addition, one Israeli missile struck a shed in the Sudaniyya area, northwest of Gaza city, destroying it, and causing damage to several nearby structures.
Two more missiles were fired into an agricultural land, north of Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army claimed a shell, fired from Gaza, was successfully intercepted by the Iron Dome system, and that the Code Red siren system was sounded in various areas in the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council and Ashdod.

The Gaza Strip was attacked at least 696 times on different occasions since the August 2014 ceasefire, said Tobias Ellwood, the UK Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, according to the Middle East Monitor.
During a parliamentary session, Labour MP Alex Cunningham asked "how many times the Israeli military has opened fire into Gaza since August 2014; and what steps his Department is taking to prevent future such incidents?"
"We are aware of Israeli forces responding to illegal rocket fire from Gaza with 29 strikes since the 26 August 2014 Gaza ceasefire agreement.
"According to figures from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, Israeli forces have opened fire into the Gaza Access Restricted Areas on land and sea on at least 696 occasions since then," Ellwood stated in response.
He added that British officials in Tel Aviv have raised their concerns over the Israel Defence Force's use of live fire in Gaza with the Israeli Government.
"We are continuing to urge the parties to prioritise progress towards reaching a durable solution for Gaza," Ellwood said.

The Israeli occupation navy afternoon Saturday destroyed a Palestinian fishing boat docked within the authorized nautical miles off Khan Younis shores, in southern Gaza.
A PIC news reporter quoted local fishermen as stating that an Israeli gunboat moved toward a Palestinian fishing vessel docked some three kilometers away from Gaza shores shortly before they smashed the vessel and sunk it.
The fishermen said the boat, owned by chairman of the fishermen syndicate in Khan Younis, Fouad al-Amoudi, and three other partners of his, was attacked while disembarked in the authorized fishing zone.

The Israeli occupation soldiers afternoon Friday opened heavy machine gunfire on Palestinian civilian homes and agricultural lands east of the blockaded Gaza Strip, flagrantly violating the Cairo-brokered ceasefire accord.
A PIC news correspondent quoted Palestinian locals as reporting that Israeli army jeeps and patrols deployed near military watchtowers at the border fence unleashed random spates of machine gunfire on Palestinian civilian homes and cultivated land lots in al-Shuja’ia neighborhood, in eastern Gaza.
The blockaded Gaza Strip has frequently been subjected to Israeli machine-gunfire and limited incursions in what observers branded a barefaced violation of the Cairo-brokered truce deal struck in the wake of summer 2014 Israeli aggression on the besieged coastal enclave.
The Israeli military offensive on Gaza took away the lives of at least 2,200 Palestinians, mostly children and women, and left thousands of others critically wounded.

Israeli gunboats on Sunday evening opened their machinegun fire at Palestinian fishing boats off the coast of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Eyewitnesses said the fishermen were working within the fishing zone permitted by Israel when they were attacked by the navy.
They added that the intensity of the gunfire forced the fishermen to swiftly move back to shore, with no reported casualties or material damage.

Several Israeli military vehicles, and bulldozers, carried out on Monday morning, a limited invasion into Palestinian lands east of Jabalia town, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
Eyewitnesses said the soldiers advanced dozens of meters into Palestinian lands, close to the border fence, and bulldozed them.
The army conducts frequent limited invasion into border areas in the coastal region, bulldozes and uproots lands, in addition to firing on homes, farmers and workers.
On Saturday at dawn, the army fired several missiles targeting different areas of the besieged Gaza Strip, causing excessive damage to homes and structures, while one Palestinian was injured.
On Sunday, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas movement, said it has captured an Israeli army drone in the north of the besieged Gaza Strip, the second such incident in about two months.

The Palestinian resistance movement of Hamas says it has captured a drone belonging to the Israeli regime in the north of the besieged Gaza Strip, the second such incident in about two months.
Press TV/Al Ray reports that, according to media reports on Saturday, members of the Hamas military wing, Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, seized the aircraft after it fell in an area on the outskirts of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.
Qassam Brigades officials have not made any comments on the report so far.
This is the second Israeli drone seized by Palestinian resistance fighters over the past two months. Back in July, Hamas announced that another drone came down in northern Gaza, adding that the movement’s fighters managed to rebuild the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
The Tel Aviv regime makes frequent use of UAVs to gather intelligence on the coastal enclave, which has been under a crippling Israeli siege since 2007.
The strip has been through three Israeli wars since 2008. Last summer, the Tel Aviv regime launched a 50-day military offensive against the besieged coastal sliver, killing 2,140 Palestinians, including 557 children.
The aggression also left 11,100 Palestinians wounded, including 3,374 children and 2,088 women, and displaced over 170,000 others.

“My paralyzed daughter was murdered by Israeli soldiers and I couldn’t save her.”
It only depends on us that this mother’s cry of pain does not drown in the silence.
“My paralyzed daughter was murdered by Israeli soldiers and I couldn’t save her” she told us, looking at us with clear eyes veiled with tears of pain, the other of a paraplegic girl, just 18 years old, massacred in her wheelchair by Zionist occupation forces during the ground invasion in Khuzaa, in southern Gaza Strip.
The mother’s voice is like her eyes, clear and painful, sad and intense. In her tone there is much suffering – although she is a victim of the zionist atrocities – there is also a lot of guilt for failing to rescue her daughter from a terrible death under the fire of one of the most powerful armies of the planet: the Israeli Occupation Forces.
“My daughter asked me not to leave her, but she was in a crater formed by a bomb explosion in the middle of the street and I couldn’t move her from there, I didn’t have the strength to carry her in my arms, and the Israeli soldiers were coming back, shooting with tanks, guns, with everything. Crying I told her that I had to leave her and prayed to God.”
What happened next is so cruel and vicious as the crime itself: an officer of the Israeli forces communicated by telephone with the family to say the girl was with them in one of the houses that they had occupied n Khuzaa “Come and get her, she is unharmed”, said the officer. The family was so happy that one brother decided to leave the house where they were sheltering with the intention of picking up the girl, but when he opened the door, multiple shots from the occupation forces began to impact the house.
The Zionist’s macabre game is repeated, they call again to tell the family to look for the paralyzed teen and again they open fire when one of the brothers tries to leave the house to rescue his sister. “This kind of inhuman mockery of Palestinians is common from the Israeli Army”, explain various witnesses of the Zionist crimes. Not content just to kill with impunity, they also like to torture their victims, tease them and laugh at the suffering of the families.”
It hurts, but is not surprising, knowing that she had never been safe in the hands of the occupying forces, she had been murdered in cold blood and she lies near her wheelchair with multiple gunshots in her limbs, heart and head, when she was found days later by her family in an advanced state of decomposition on the main street of the devastated village of Khuzaa, southern Gaza Strip, a place where life is worthless, where the slaughtering of Palestinians is a coward game without consequences for this criminal army.

Israeli fighter jets carried out two airstrikes in the Gaza Strip late Saturday. No injuries were reported during the attacks.
The overnight airstrikes targeted two training camps belonging to al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ armed wing, witnesses said.
The Israeli airstrikes caused severe damage to the neighboring buildings, while no injuries have been declared.
Late on Friday, Israeli army claimed that at three two rockets were fired from Gaza into south of Israel, causing no injuries.
The alleged rockets were shot down by a missile defense system, the sources added.
The army authorities called on Israeli settlers in south Israel to run for shelter in case the siren sounds.
The Israeli airstrikes came as tension remained high in occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank as Israeli settlers continue to carry out daily and systematic break-ins into al-Aqsa mosque protection under Israeli police’s heavy in total provocation to Palestinians and Muslims all over the world.
IDF strikes in Gaza after rocket fire
The Israel Air Force strikes three terror targets in northern Gaza overnight after the Iron Dome system intercepted an Ashkelon-bound rocket, and another rocket landed in Sderot, causing damage to a house and bus.
The IAF struck three terror targets in northern Gaza overnight as a direct response to the rocket fire emanating from the territory last night. Two rockets were fired from Gaza, with one being intercepted by the Iron Dome system which was recently deployed to south on the backdrop of tensions over Jerusalem.
One rocket fired from Gaza fell in an open area inside the city of Sderot in a residential area, damaging a bus and a home Friday night before a second round of code red sirens was heard in the south, this time in the city of Ashkelon.
One rocket were shot down over Ashkelon just after 11:30pm by Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system for the first time since Operation Protective Edge in 2014, just three hours after the rocket strike on Sderot.
Local residents in Sderot reported hearing the exposion from the rocket before hearing the cooresponding code red sirens that are supposed to give warning of projectile attacks.
A family was inside the home that was damaged, but were unharmed. No injuries were reported, but an unconfirmed number of individuals were said to be suffering from shock at the scene.
The city of Sderot released a statement calling on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to react swiftly and aggressively.
The rocket strike comes after a day of clashes in Jerusalem, centered around the Temple Mount.
No claim of responsibility for the rocket attacks has yet emerged.
An Iron Dome battery was recently deployed to Ashdod as a precaution preparing for rocket fire from Gaza.
Code red sirens were last heard in the south on September 1 during a failed attempt to launch a rocket from the Gaza Strip.
Israeli aircraft struck Gaza on August 27 in reaction to a rocket that was fired from the strip and landed in an open area in the Eshkol Regional Council.

A rocket fired from the Gaza Strip landed in the southern Israeli city of Sderot, on Friday, according to an Israeli army spokesperson.
The spokesperson told Ma'an News Agency that the rocket landed adjacent to an empty bus, causing moderate damage to the vehicle. No injuries were reported in the attack.
No group has taken responsibility for the rocket fire, but the Israeli government holds Hamas, as the elected ruling party, responsible for any activity within the enclave.
Earlier today, Israeli forces opened fire at Palestinians who had approached near the border fence north of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip.
Earlier this month, Israeli forces fired two rockets at an al-Qassam Brigades military site known as Falasteen, causing damages. However, no injuries were reported.
Israeli forces said the attack was in response to alleged sniper fire from the Gaza Strip, which hit a house in the Netiv Hatsra neighborhood, adjacent to the besieged territory, also causing no injuries.
Some sporadic rocket fire towards Israel from Gaza, in recent months, has been claimed by a small extremist groups in the strip allegedly aiming to challenge Hamas' rule.
Hamas has denied involvement in past attacks, and has attempted to vamp down on armed activity by smaller political groups reportedly growing more active.
Last month, Israeli forces injured four Palestinians during a bombing near Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The airstrikes were in response to alleged rocket fire from Gaza, which caused no damage or injuries.
The four people injured were the first injuries reported from airstrikes in the Gaza Strip since Israel's 2014 offensive in which more than 2,200 people were killed and many more wounded in the 139 square mile strip.
Over 35,000 meters of water and sewage pipelines were damaged or destroyed during the 2014 offensive, leaving 120,000 Gazans without access to the water network.
At least 11 schools and universities were totally destroyed, with 253 severely damaged, as well as over 81 hospitals and clinics which were also damaged or destroyed.

Israeli forces, on Friday, opened fire at Palestinians near the border north of Beit Lahiya, in the northern Gaza Strip, witnesses told Ma'an News Agency.
Witnesses said forces opened fire at seven Palestinians who approached the fence north of Beit Lahiya; no injuries were reported.
An Israeli army spokesperson said that a group of Palestinians approached the border fence around 6:30 p.m. in the northern Gaza Strip. Israeli forces then told the group to halt, and fired warning shots into the air, after which the "suspects retreated".
On Tuesday, Israeli forces shot and injured a member of Hamas' military wing in the southern Gaza Strip. One day before that, the Israeli army said it had arrested five Palestinians after they crossed the border fence and entered Israeli territory.
Israeli forces have repeatedly opened fire on Palestinians near the border since the ceasefire agreement signed Aug. 26, 2014 that ended a devastating 50-day Israeli military offensive against the Gaza Strip.
In July alone, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights counted 27 incidents of shootings, incursions into the territory, and arrests.
This included 18 shootings on land and at sea that left nine Palestinians injured, PCHR reported.

UN Special Coordinator for the settlement process in the Middle East Nikola Mladenov on Thursday declared that a UN meeting is to be held in the near future to discuss Gaza power and water crisis and reconstruction process.
In a press conference held shortly after reaching Gaza Strip, Mladenov said that a meeting is scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session by the end of this month.
The meeting is expected to bring further progress in settling Gaza crisis, he said.
Early Thursday, Mladenov arrived to the blockaded enclave through the Israeli-controlled Erez crossing. It is the second visit paid by Mladenov to Gaza since he was appointed as the UN Special Coordinator for the settlement process in the Middle East last March.
His few-hour visit aims at discussing Gaza reconstruction process and finding solutions for the economic crisis faced by 1.8 million people in the besieged Strip.
"It is very important to achieve a better life for the people of Gaza," Miladenov said.
“The people’s anger grows over the massive economic deterioration and the continued power outages here. Thus, this anger would certainly lead to extremism. So, we must double our efforts for Gaza reconstruction.”
Meanwhile, he gave a rare upbeat assessment in the Gaza Strip, saying that reconstruction from last year's war on Gaza is speeding up.
The reconstruction of hundreds of houses started last month with the help of Qatar, which has donated millions of dollars to rebuild 1,000 housing units, he pointed out.
"I'm very happy to be able to report today that the reconstruction effort has visibly accelerated within the last two months," said Mladenov.
However, he noted that Gaza reconstruction process is facing a major shortfall in humanitarian funding.
"We are very far from reaching the goal of restoring normal life to Gaza," Miladenov said.
"We will work with both the Israeli and Palestinian parties to solve Gaza crisis," he vowed.
In this regard, he called on the Palestinian Authority to take full control and responsibility in Gaza in order to achieve its faster reconstruction.
More than 2,200 Palestinians, including 500 children, were killed during the Israeli 51-day aggression on Gaza last summer, while thousands of homes, schools, and hospitals were destroyed.
