Abdullah Ahmad Abu Teir (Abu Nasr ), 18
An Israeli warplane fired, on Tuesday at night, a missile at a Palestinian youth in the southern Gaza Strip, killing him, before the soldiers took his body away.
Armored Israeli military bulldozers advanced towards the perimeter fence, east of Khan Younis, before the soldiers snatched his corpse and took it away.
Media sources in Gaza said the slain young man has been identified as Abdullah Ahmad Abu Teir (Abu Nasr ), 18, from Abasan al-Kabeera, in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
His father called on international human rights groups to intervene and to secure the transfer of his corpse to his family for proper burial.
The Israeli army claimed that it observed an armed Palestinian near the perimeter fence in the southern Gaza Strip, before instructions were given to an Israeli drone to shoot him.
Eyewitnesses reported that Palestinian ambulances tried several times to reach the youth to save him, but Israeli forces opened fire towards them, preventing them from reaching the site.
They added that Israeli soldiers called on Palestinian ambulances via loudspeakers not move forward, and fired light bombs and announced a state of alert in the area, prior to coming forward with several bulldozers.
His family issued a statement mourning his death on its Facebook Page.
It is worth mentioning that Abdullah’s brother, Ahmad, was killed by Israeli army fire in the same area in the year 2012.

Eyewitnesses in southern Gaza said the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) prevented on Tuesday evening ambulance crews from looking for and evacuating a Palestinian citizen after a military airplane opened fire at him in a border area in the east of Khan Younis.
Eyewitnesses told Quds Press that ambulances had tried several times to enter the targeted area to evacuate the citizen but all to no avail, adding that no one knew if he was dead or injured.
They reported seeing the IOF firing warning shots towards the ambulances to stop them from entering the area, adding that flares lit up the sky over the area, amid intensive presence of troops and military vehicles.
A soldier also used a megaphone to order the ambulances to move away from the area, according to the eyewitnesses.
The Israeli occupation army claimed the Palestinian was armed and spotted as he was approaching the security fence in southern Gaza.
Maariv newspaper, for its part, said that a young man from Gaza managed to infiltrate into the settlement of Nirim before the army neutralized him.

An impressive international coalition of 185 civil society organizations has called on the International Criminal Court (ICC) to open a formal investigation, into possible war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, without further delay.
The ICC has been engaged in a preliminary investigation for almost five years without reaching a conclusion. Further delay, resulting in continuing impunity, is unacceptable.
This message was delivered to the ICC, in The Hague, on December 10 (Human Rights Day), by representatives of The Rights Forum, the Dutch NGO which initiated the campaign.
Among the signatory organizations are human rights organizations, trade unions, lawyers guilds, solidarity groups, religious institutions and other civil society organizations from 25 different countries.
Large numbers of signatory organizations hail from Palestine, Germany, the USA, the Netherlands, Australia and France. The list also includes organizations from Malaysia, India, Japan, Lebanon and Nicaragua.
Only two Israeli organizations endorsed the call. Several organizations from Israel informed the PNN that they support the call but do not want their names published, as they fear a backlash from subsidizing entities and the Israeli political echelon.
Since December 10, another 15 organizations have announced that they are joining the call. Their names have been added to the list of signatories, which now comprises exactly 200 organizations.
The ICC has come under intense pressure to act on Palestine. On November 29, 400 European citizens demonstrated outside the ICC offices, demanding justice and protection for Palestinians.
Moreover, in early November, the book “I Accuse!”, written by American author Norman Finkelstein, was published, aimed at Chief Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda for her failure to hold Israel responsible for its crimes.
Most recently, on December 9, an explosive article by Emeritus Professor of Law John Dugard provided insight into the possible motives of Bensouda and her staff for their reluctance to act. Dugard holds that Bensouda’s past in The Gambia might be used against her.
The Rights Forum was founded in 2009 by former Dutch Prime Minister Dries van Agt.
Its mission is to promote a just and durable outcome of the Israel-Palestine conflict, based on international law and human rights. Its Advisory Board consists of former ministers and professors of international law.

Member of Hamas’s political bureau Khalil al-Hayya has described the information about a long-term truce between the Palestinian resistance in Gaza and the Israeli occupation state as “false and unfounded.”
In an interview conducted with him by al-Aqsa satellite channel on Wednesday, Hayya expressed his belief that “talking about a long-term truce in Gaza by some people is aimed to discredit the resistance or it could be part of Netanyahu’s lies in the context of his electoral fight or to cover up other things.”
He accused some Palestinian parties and “others not from Palestine” of insisting on falsifying facts and seeking to damage the reputation of the Palestinian resistance.
“Hamas has accustomed the factions to transparency and partnership, and we do not hid any talks we conduct with all parties,” the Hamas official said, adding that if there was any proposal about a long-standing truce in Gaza, all the resistance factions would know about it.
As for the current foreign tour of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haneyya, Hayya said that the Hamas delegation discussed with the Egyptian officials their country’s role in supporting the Palestinian cause and other issues of mutual interest.
He also said that Haneyya and his accompanying delegation highlighted the need to pressure the Israelis to honor the recent understandings over Gaza, end the siege and stop using deadly force against the participants in the March of Return rallies.
He affirmed that Haneyya’s foreign tour is intended to improve Hamas’s political relations with other countries and rally support for the Palestinian people and their resistance.
