Palestinian man hospitalized for tenth day after attacked by wild boars released by Israeli settlers
Wild boars released by Israeli settlers have attacked and seriously wounded a Palestinian man in the northern West Bank, Palestinian security sources said.
53-year-old Hikmat Abdul Mu'ti from the town of Beit Rima was hospitalized ten days ago after the animals attacked him while he was walking to his fields. According medical sources at Yasser Arafat Hospital in the city of Salfit, the man sustained a 'deep wound,' and is still in the hospital.
The security sources said that settlers from the Ariel settlement deliberately release wild boars, especially in Kana valley fields which belong to the West Bank village of Deir Istiya. In the past these boars have been known to damage crops in that valley and frequently attack farmers.
The Palestinian police reported about another similar attack by a boar against a woman and her child from the village of Sarta near Salfit.
Palestinian farmers appealed to the governor of Salfit and the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture as well as humanitarian organizations to visit the area and see first hand the suffering and the material losses caused by the boars.

Israel hands over corpses of Dimona bombers
The body of Palestinian bomber Shadi Zghayyar
Israeli authorities handed over the corpses of the Dimona bombers Muhammad Al-Hirbawi and Shadi Zghayyar to their families at the Tarqumia crossing west of Hebron in the southern West Bank on Wednesday.
The funeral processions are planned to take place later on Wednesday.
The bombing, which took place in a crowded shopping center, left one attacker and an Israeli woman dead. The second attacker was shot dead by an Israeli security officer.
Hamas' armed wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades had claimed responsibility for the Dimona bombing earlier this month. The Hamas announcement came slightly late allegedly in an attempt to confuse the Israeli government.
Fatah's Al-Aqsa Brigades, and the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades had claimed responsibility for the same operation days before Hamas claimed responsibility and released a videotape of the bombers reading their will.
The handover of the bodies also dispels any speculation that the Palestinian bombers had entered Israel from the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt, after leaving the Gaza Strip through the breached Rafah border wall.

Nasrallah: Hezbollah ready for "open war"
Secretary General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Hasan Nasrallah promised to wage an open war against Israel, saying that Israel chose war when it allegedly assassinated Hezbollah's military leader, Imad Mughniya.
Mughniya was killed in a car bombing in the Syrian capital, Damascus on Wednesday. Hezbollah blamed Israel for the attack.
Nasrallah was delivering a eulogy before the burial of Mughniya in the southern suburbs of Beirut, the Lebanese capital. He said that Israel committed a "great folly" when they chose to assassinate Mughniya. He pointed out that the world historians have to start chronicling this date as the beginning of the collapse of the state of Israel.
Nasrallah said that Israel lost the war against Hezbollah in the summer of 2006 considering that the war is still ongoing as no ceasefire has been announced.
With regards to Hezbollah's reaction to the assassination of Mughniya, Nasrallah quoted his own word during the war in 2006 when he addressed the Israelis saying, "If you Zionists choose to fight an open war, you will have an open war." He was hinting to the fact that Hezbollah during the last war started launching missiles at Israeli cities in the north after the Israeli army shelled civilian targets in Lebanon.
This quote may imply that Hezbollah will undertake military action against Israeli targets anywhere as he said, "I remind that you killed Mughniya outside the battle field, and if you Zionists have already chosen an open war, I repeat now, let it be an open war."
Nasrallah reiterated that assassination of resistance leaders such as Mughniya does not weaken resistance. He revealed that as soon as the 2006 war ended, Hezbollah fighters led by Mughniya and others began to prepare for another possible war. He said, "This time, there will not be one Imad Mughniya awaiting you, or thousands of fighters, because Mughniya has almost completed his mission and prepared dozens of well-trained fighters who will fight you, willing to die as martyrs."

Palestinian from Bethlehem seriously injured by grenade left behind by Israeli soldiers
Eighteen-year-old Ala Ubayat was seriously injured in the West Bank city of Bethlehem when a grenade left behind by Israeli soldiers exploded in his hands, sources in the Palestinian police told Ma'an on Thursday.
Bethlehem Police Chief Dawood Abu Ghaith said the man was seriously injured when he tried to split the grenade open using an electric cutting machine in his father's blacksmith workshop.
Ghaith added that police engineering unit rushed to the place and found another unexploded grenade, and defused it. Police have opened an investigation into the incident, he said.
He blamed the Israelis for the explosion and warned Palestinian citizens to be careful when they find unexploded Israeli ordinance, urging them to inform the Palestinian police immediately when they find any suspect devices.
Abu Ghaith said the Israeli soldiers deliberately leave behind such devices to tempt ordinary Palestinians to play with them and endanger their lives.
